    Those are the hard core Zutarians for you. I like the smart Zutarians who arent blinded whenever there is kataang evidence then over anayls scenes and find the most stupid evidence that i shouldnt even call evidence but thats what they think it is. I admit when i first got into the shippings i was blinded from sukka (well not exactly i knew the evidence) and thought Tokka would happen but the more i thought about it the more i moved toward Sukka happening. and i was Ok with sukka.

    It's funny - before I came onto these forums, I had watched through the first 2 and a half seasons and never even considered the notion that Katara might end up with anyone but Aang. Shortly after DoBS aired I came here. The first time I came across a person saying that they though Katara and Zuko were going to be together I laughed my head off. Then I actually realised that they were serious

    What I have always wanted to know is - where did Zutara come from? Who came up with the original crack-theory? How did this idea start?

    What I have always wanted to know is - where did Zutara come from? Who came up with the original crack-theory? How did this idea start?

    For me, it started during a commerical of the 'Waterbending Scroll' and Zuko grabs Kataras hands after she turns around and says 'I'll save you from the pirates'. Afterwards I'm like 'wow, they would look cute together' and, added to my dislike of most cannon pairings (cuz they make them too corny DX DX DX) I just fell in love with the idea XD

    From the stories I've heard (they aren't very reliable seeing as they've been passed down from generation to generation) someone thought Zutara would be hot and dangerous. It was a joke at first, but after a while more and more followers joined. It was like a cult :O Then they started telling themselves it could happen. Then they "saw" hints towards Zutara. It just went on from there. It started off as any other crack ship, like Bumoph (Bumi and Toph) and then just transformed.

    I remember this guy named LeonMorado once made this thread called "shipping history", that told a tale of a war between a number of nations that paralleled the shipping war. I may have to find it, and bring it back.
