It kinda bothered me how the sword never really came into play to perform some kind of great heroic moment. I mean it was the space-sword! When Sokka forged his sword from the "space-rock" I just new it would be used to do something more spectacular than knocking one FN soldier from his platform before falling out of sight, never to be seen again. Does anyone else feel this way? Or did I just expect to much from the sword?

If someone else has posted a similar topic I apologise. I looked, but coudn't find an existing thread.

Yeah, I had a "WTF?" moment when it didn't play any big role at all.

Yeah, I felt kinda the same way as you did...

But I guess they chose Sokka to be the idea-guy again, instead of the heroic sword-fighter. However, he still saved both their lifes with that sword. Not enough though

You expected as much out of the space sword as I expected out of Momo. I thought he was important because of King Bumi's talking about him, just like you thought Sokka's space sword could shoot laser beams out of its edge.

Or whatever you thought it could do.

It's June. And it sucks that Sokka lost the sword he made himself, from perhaps the rarest material in the Avatarverse.

Hopefully his master saved some of the meteorite. No way they used the whole thing to make a single sword.

No, the rest is probably still laying where the meteorite crashed.

But they draggied a huge chunk to his master's house. No way they used it all making the sword.
