true. i dont think theres any other meteorite left than that though
They used about 20% of the meteorite to make the sword, and Sokka's Master (i always forget his name) wouldn't get rid of something so rare, so maybe Sokka and his Master go back to his house and make another one.

Without the space sword, Sokka and Toph would have fallen off the blimp. It slowed them down enough to land on the ledge, then he sacrificed it to save Toph and himself. It ended up saving his life two times in a row =/

i think it did something, remember when they were falling off the side of the balloon? it cut through all that sheet metal without breaking in two, you find a sword that can cut through that thick sheet metal and support two peoples weight you let me know. not to mention it took the life of the next ruler of the world:melon lord

Out of curiosity, why doesn't Toph just bend the rock into the shape of a sword, save Sokka the hassle?
I kinda have an answer, if you see how they make japanese, swords it takes lots of refinding. Each time you bang the red hot metal with a hammer, you bang the impurities that allow it to break and rush. Therefore when all the impurities are banged out it becomes stanless steel. You put two different types of steel and shape it correctly, put decorations and etc. I guess toph could speed the process up with her earth bending but, its also part of the sword practioners practice to make the sword himself.
