    I watch the episode "The library" again and was wondering if there was more that picture they saw, It seem that even little things in this show are important but this might be a bit of??a stretch. I guess you won't know what I am talking about if you have not seen that episode recently.

    Its not healthy to use tvtropes.org-ishy in conversation. But yeah, as noted by some critics, Avatar's one of those shows where even the most seeminly insignificant of thing's can turn out to be the opposite. Could've done more with that oasis thingie though. I've always kinda seen the show as a cartoon version of Lost, and this avatarescape god-are-we-making-this-crap-as-we-go-along thing really helps that. In a good way-ish. Anywho from the pilot-

    my money is more on an old firebender since he has the long blackish dark brown hair.?? hmmm the turtle must be something big to be mentioned so much. i never thought about that until now.?? its amazing what some people can notice while i don't really focus that muh or i just 4get

    it's any plot device introduced into a story because it's going to be used later in the story, otherwise it wouldn't have been introduced at all.
