Does anyone know how to find out if there's a comic con in Pittsburgh ever? Oh, and Snow Princess, with all due respect... um, I think your avatar is a bit, uh, outdated. [hides behind the nearest Roku statue] |
no..the whole concept does not revolve around Zutara..but a much more deeper meaning (sorta..with a little added bonus of zutara..)

In order for Aang to 'pass the torch' to the next Avatar, he'd have to be dead. And I think defeating Ozai and mastering the Avatar State pretty much confirms Aang came to terms with accepting and fulfilling his duty as the Avatar. |
I know he's has to be dead, but if the series is truly over, it shouldn't matter right? And as far as Aang fulfilling his duties, I think you're right. The show is called "Avatar, the last airbender," perpetuating the idea that Aang is a legend, which is justified by ending a 100 year war, and mastering the other three elements in 1 year. I just thought that the creators were going to give him his rightful place with the other avatars like Roku, Kyoushi, etc.
I was very disapointed in these last four episodes of Avatar...
THERE WAS NO CABBAGE MAN!

All hail the cabbage man...
(-how many times was he shown?-I need closure; did he ever deliver and sell a good bunch of cabbages yet?)

Wh...What?! Did you just try to end this thread because there was no Cabbage Man?! (Calm down, Hope, they're probably just joking...) I guess it would have been funny if the Cabbage Man had appeared in the crowd or something at the end, though. |
I am very upset to have reached the end of such a brilliant series Its 3:13 am and i just finished it ...
It was VERY VERY good ...
The Fights were AWSOME !!!
Although I didnt want anybody to die it seems highly improbable that nobody would. I was also dissapointed with what Azula turned out to be, I had high hopes that she would turn good.
The reunion with Uncle was amazingly well done.
I thought the ending was pretty good but we didnt get to see much about Toph and the producers didnt show what happened to Azula but I suppose they couldnt completly show everything because that would be stupid ....
Ps. Shouldnt there be a follow up season ... like book 4 air ??!! everyone is talking like its completley finished and it seems like it is ... but it cant be ... can it ?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!
Oh well ill just back to watching japanese anime *sigh ... Anime is really good but the difference with avatar is they dont drag it on .. It took 100 years for Naruto's fight with Sasuke because of the billions of flash backs .... grrrrrr ...
The finale of all finales, definitely!
I'm not going to say anything about the fights. If you're on this thread, you saw them; if you saw them, you must have felt their awesomeness.
I'm really happy Azula got some character developement. It never felt right to me that she was so pure evil. I loved seeing her lose her cool and the Ursa mirror image was really cool. Awesome job Grey DeLisle *claps*.
Toph's story seemed a little unfinished to me. She didn't even get her field trip with Zuko!
Which brings me back to the romance and comedy... I can't find anything to say about it. It was just too good. Aang ends up with Katara, huh? After not caring for the ship for a long time, I must admit, it felt right.
I was a little scared that the peace making wouldn't make sense. The banished, traitor prince taking the throne before the other nations were totally crushed and FN flourished for centuries to come? Lukily most FN people were as sick of the war as the rest of the nations, and the peace making can be left to our own imaginations.
For the absolute eternal WIN!

i thought the finale was awesome the battles and the music were brilliant however i don't think the last 8 minutes was enough time to resolve everything after the fight |
many people say that about the last 5 minutes. the creators didnt do an epilogue probably because they wanted to leave open paths for the show to take

Since everyone's wondering what happened to Azula, I might as well post this info from nick.com.
After Zuko defeated her in the Agni Kai, Azula was shipped off to a mental health facility on a nearby island where she is supervised around the clock.
