Rate the finale! How was it?

    I thought it was incredibly lame how Aang was suddenly able to go into Avatar state after he got pushed into a rock and suddenly started winning. I thought the firelord and Avatar Aang would be pretty even.     2. The Fire Lord would absolutely NOT be an equal to Avatar Aang. He's the AVATAR for God's sake. He has the power of hundreds of Avatars in him and can bend all four elements. I don't see how they could possibly be evenly matched. 3. Zuko and Azula fought, and Azula won. Katara had to finish the job. Plus, they didn't really fight. Katara used her resourcefulness to defeat Azula.
    4. Zuko redirected most of the lightening. Watch the scene again.
    5. They didn't single handedly. They used the ships power to destroy it. They weren't fighting anyone. It was the three kids strength, it was how they used their surroundings. Thank you Sokka's Master!
    6. Dude, it's a Nickelodeon show. What did you expect?

    Didn't that fire Avatar say that even the Avatar state wouldn't be enough to defeat the Firelord when the comet comes? Also the whole ship thing was extremely dumb IMO. Also how did Azula beat Zuko?

    Well, he was on the ground in serious pain. She could've killed him quite easily if Katara wasn't there. Well, since Aang completely mastered the Avatar state, it's a different story.

I dont think making one where Azula polts to take over the fire nation when the comit comes again(?) is gona work out to well. OZAI can NOT get his fire bending BACK. That'd be grrrrr ful. But Zuko finding his mom would be cute.

    Meh they should have had Zuko win I mean he was doing great until Azula took a cheap shot at Katara. Btw am I the only one who finds it funny how Katara was just standing there when the lighting was shot at her but Zuko had time to jump in the way when lighting travels way faster than the speed of sound. How did he completely master Avatar state btw?

    1. Azula was crazy. 2. Zuko deserved a break, don't cha think?
    3. They only wanted Aang to defeat the Fire Lord before the comet because they wanted to preserve the Earth Kingdom. Since the Earth Kingdom basically had already fallen, it didn't matter anymore.
    4. Aang ALSO took energy from the comet.
    5. Katara beat Azula by using intelligence, something Azula didn't have at the moment.

    Maybe she was like stiff with fear. like in spiderman when a piece of the building was falling and this kid was right under it and he wouldn't move. well aang didnt like fall to the floor when he got out of it like he used to do. and then katara would catch him.

    Roku (the fire avatar) said Aang had to defeat the Firelord before he used the comet to destroy everything, otherwise the world would be so imbalanced that not even the Avatar could restore order. He never mentioned anything about the Avatar State.

    And kids saving the world is kind of the whole premise of the show, so I don't know why you'd have a problem with 3 of them taking out a fleet of airships.

    I don't know if anyone else has heard this, but I heard that there was originally supposed to be a scene where Zuko meets his mother but it was cut, according to an interview with the makers. Then again, I learned this from wikipedia.

    I like the tea scene better anyway, for the sake of closure. Zuko's mom leaves things open for a mini-comic at least.

    umm aang unlocking chakras by hitting himself

    katara being alive....

    toph being totally ignored

    aang ignoring the past avatars

    the firenation people being like 'we control 98.546% of the world, lets agree to peace'

    katara not dieing...

    no hidden airbenders

    comet was a let down

    we see tons of fn peeps in ba sing say then, like 20 ppl taking the city, not to mention possible dy lee

    umm june'he's no longer in this world'

    mai being all cool and not caring her bf left her in prison and forgot about her

    iroh's voice that no one noticed till this episode

    guru going poof and yui and respect for the show....

    and katarra nearly getting zuko killed cuz she's a useless bee-och

    and azula not being able to get out of ice during the comet, when zuko got out of something like that in S1

    and the water tribes never got revisited

    momo being useless(yet awsome)

    thats a nut shell now that ive dug a grave some and attack me.... but its 59000x beetter then spongebob, or any nick $hit and katara not being dead...( i really really hate katara, except in Southern raiders)
