    oh I understand Aang is still a kid n all that, but there's a deadline here...something had to set him off to take charge...it'll only get tougher and tougher...Aang will have to do the same or Azula will eat him alive before he even gets to the Fire Lord...

    Aang needs to be focuesd and offensive(Forget what Katara says) He will need to kill the Fire Lord and once the war is over he can relaxe and have fun as long as he likes.

    No in avatar duty you can't rush things I know Aang took a 10 minute vacation but he just can't let himself succumb to raw power and let the Avatar state kill everyone around it.

    What "set him off" was Appa getting lost... and I know that there's a deadline, but you can't forget that Aang is training constantly. It's just that the show doesn't always show it because then it would be amazingly boring.

    Aang does not find Appa, but what does make him become normal is seeing a new baby born, her family so full of love. He then confesses his feelings for Katara, but I'm not so sure what happens after that...
