Guys, I just read the iTunes description for S3. It's very interesting:

...However, Princess Azula, who is one step ahead, spoils the invasion plans and forces the gang to flee. Meanwhile, Prince Zuko returns home as the triumphant son, but soon finds his honor he so greatly craved from his father is worthless. New alliances are formed and Team Avatar forges a new plan to stop the firelord.

...so, Azula stops the invasion plan on the Day of Black Sun?! Zuko's honor is worthless? I think iTunes is giving stuff away. Nevertheless, what do you think?

I think i-tunes is AWESOME!!! and i think the your AWESOME as well for finding it

but really what i think is that maybe zuko does realize his wrong or does something to redeem himself....well maybe he goes after ursa finds out the truth behind it, hates his dad and leaves with iroh....pretty basic you the idea

I think we got Zuko all wrong.

I think this is all a ploy. He's just playing Azula. The FireNation has done too much to him for him to forgive and forget. I think in Crossroads when he and Uncle were talking (prior to the big battle), a plan was hatched.

Azula seems to know all, yet in B3E2 when she confronts him about going to see Uncle he goes back, even after her warning. He seems like the 'good' Fire Nation Prince now, but, I have my doubts. Maybe Uncle was crying because Zuko is having trouble dealing with their plan.

Oh, and this thing with Mai.....well isn't Mai a close ally ofAzula's???? He's probably playing that card too!!!(there is absolutely nochemistry between the two)

I think Zuko is a pawn. He was basically stuck between a rock and a hard place during the end of season 2 - either join his sister and have his "honor" back, or be branded a traitor and, at best, be a fugitive the rest of his life or worse, be arrested. As a 16 year old guy who has been forced to give up everything he knew, I can understand that he went with what sounded like the much surer thing. Of course, everything has a price. He is now truly at the mercy of his sister, obviously conflicted and simultaneously lashing out at and pleading with his uncle because he's totally torn down the middle. By the same token, Iroh's tears are because he feels betrayed and he can't help, because helping would make matters worse. That part of the episode is very interesting.

that is true both theories sound accurate, zuko is at the mercy of azula but, he is very suspicious of her and probably is planning a plan b which is probably under construction yet...until he really finds what azula's motive is.

so for the time being he really is unsure what to do and goes for iroh for advice for what to do, seeing that iroh can't help zuko i dunno tough love i'm betting and so zuko takes matters in his own hands and hires the terminator........out of confusion of his next moves

I just noticed that episode 6 is titled "The Avatar and the Firelord", and that got me thinking. What if...

...at some point before the end of the season, Ozai goes down and Azula takes over. I guess it's possible that Zuko could take over as well, but if he did Azula would still be playing him like a pawn. The idea that the Avatar will battle the firelord in the end is very linear, and the creators of this show are anything but predictable. There's got to be some sort of twist before the final battle. I don't think Zuko would willingly allign with Aang because hate for the Avatar is so engrained in him, but if he was made to choose between Azula and Aang again then he could possibly choose Aang's side. Especially if Azula keeps jerking him around the way she is and he smartens up to that. Maybe Mai will be the one to smack Zuko upside the head and tell him to wise up to Azula's schemes. She has sort of an inside view of Azula's plotting and Zuko trusts her.

weird scar? if you're talking about the hitman zuko hired, a) it's a tattoo, not a scar, b)he's too young to be aang's old friend, c)he's called 'combustion man, d)no, just no.

it could be the terminator who is kuzon since he is like half robot and what not.....but i highly doubt that theory because in the trailer he clearly attacked him......the terminator is the silent type isn't he.....i wonder if he sounds robotic
