why would they kill off Mai? Though I dont think I would mind it.

well think about it the gaag has had aot of deaths that made hug impacts on them....(Yue, sokka and kataras mom,Jet etc)..i mean the Fn has been lucky so far and the perfect people to go first if not Azula would b Mai and Ty lee .....victims of being caught in a web of lies and disception by Azula...but if maiko becoms canon then ty lee would go...and that would be sad wouldnt it? who wouldnt feel bad for ty lee..who was just a happy giving person...they need something dramatic to happe nto the Fn side..it is a war afte all..and a death would be perfect....

yeah a death would be good on the fire nation side, we need more calamities there...

Of course, the whole arc of her character COULD be just a deus ex machina to get Zuko back on the good side.

Well, yes. I mean, it might hurt him enough to realize which side he needs to be on, especially if Azula was the one who killed her. Why Azula would kill Mai, I don't know, I'm just throwing around ideas here.

Yeah after all no major character form the Fire Nation has died. I say that sarcasticly, because you guys are forgetting about Zhao in the season 1 finale. And Lu Ten died years before the series.

They better not kill off Ty Lee, if they do,do Michael and Bryan love to torture the nicer loveable characters? First of all they torture poor Sokka with his girlfriends, than everything that has happened to Iroh,and than to kill off a character like Ty Lee after what Azula put her through, she just wants to have fun, is not a blood thirsty character like Jet, they would be killing off one of the most loveable characters on the show.

And worst of all, as it stands now there would be no tears for her, the gAang wouldn't care, would Zuko or Iroh care? Mai is the only character that would be sad, and she doesn't show much emotion. Any greif of sadness she would show, is not enough for me.

Yeah they torture everyone except the two characters that deserve it the most, Ozai and Azula. Nothing bad has happened to them yet.

They probably will hurt Zuko more by having Ozai completely disowning him, then they kill off Jin, then they'll have some random kid kick him in the shin, then some guy will jack all his stuff, some random person will then call him names, then they'll make him start inuring his terrible life, and then have him struck by lightning, then they'll make him get another scar, then he'll grow bald, then he'll become alone and neglected, and then he's just gonna commit suicide, and they'll show him suffer in hell just because they're sadistic, especially for Zuko's suffering.

I don't think we need to worry about Azula killing Mai. Azula's heartless, but don't you think it would be a bit OOC for her? Even Azula has a little bit of respect for human life.

Ozai did it, in the throne room, with the firebending. Bwa ha ha....

I have an idea! the day of black sun is sozins comit!!!
it will hit the moon then with the power of the sun (sunny d!!) and Sozins comit fire benders will be supercharged!!
then a massive four way battle will break out!!!
The gaang vs. azula and her peeps vs. zuko and iroh(who is on aangs and zuko's side) vs. ozai!!!!!
