A bit...although it was hard to tell because the pic of him was a sketch (sort of like the one's on Fire Nation watned posters, and it wasn't colored)

Man this episode was sort of underwhelming. I guess it was meant to be a fun little filler episode, but almost nothing happened. Their really isn???t mush to talk about so im going to list my favorite stories.

    1.Zuko
Easily the most interesting of all the stories, it was funny, Zuko was cool(I especially liked when he lit the candles), and I???m no longer a Zutara shipper(Jen/Zuko for the win).

    2.Iroh
Iroh was awesome in his story. The end was also really sad and I loved the tribute to Mako.

    3.Katara/Toph
We finally got some really good characterization of Toph. Toph is my favorite character so I probably liked this story then others.

    4.Sokka
It was hilarious, but had no real point.

    5.Momo
Meh, it was kind of boring. The beginning was nice, and the end when Momo was in the footprint was kind of sad. But nothing was really that interesting.

    6. Aang
Its was boring and pointless. Easily the worst.

This was cute. I loved Iroh, Sokka, and Zuko's part. Jin's cool, she had the guts to ask him out! But is it just me? Or does Zuko have a problem with girls? When Song was gonna touch his face, he stopped her; and now, when Jin leaned in to kiss him, he put that free coupon thing up his face between them.

And what did he mean, "It's complicated." Does he have phobia of girls?

Ohhh poor Iroh, but I'm so glad that his part was dedicated to his voice actor. May he rest in peace. I'm also happy that we finally got to see how Luten looked like as an adult! As for Toph and Katara's, it was okay. Not really what I expected. Those girls were mean btw.

As for Momo, was he on Appa's footsteps in the end? I also believed that he would be captured too! If he did, poor Aang-two pets to look for.

Sokka seems skilled in haiku, does he not?

The Tale of Toph and Katara

Toph and Katara go for a girls day out at a kind of Earth Kingdom spa. There, the pair get manicures, pedicures, and make-up. Toph remarks after they leave that she feels "girly." As they walk over a bridge, they pass another group of girls, who make fun of Toph's heavy make-up and call her a clown; Toph uses her Earthbending to collapse part of the bridge so they fall in the water, and Katara sends them flying down the stream. Toph is then depressed about their comments, but Katara compliments that Toph is not only confident and self-assured, but also pretty. The two girls then happy walk home.

    The Tale of Iroh

Next is Iroh's story. While in the market, he aids a shopkeeper to make a flower bloom (it needs shade, not light), and then sings a song to a weeping child (the song was about a young soldier returning from war). He then plays ball with some Earthbending children, but flees with them after a window is broken. He is later attacked by a mugger; unconcerned for safety, he tells the mugger his stance makes him weak to attacks, corrects in, and befriends the poor criminal. The end of the story has him on a hill, making a memorial to his son Lu Tan (whose birthday it apparently is), and singing the song he had sung earlier over a picture of the dead child.

    The Tale of Aang

Aang's story is next. While looking for Appa, he meets a zookeeper whose large animals are cramped in a zoo, which is broken down and no longer popular with the children. Aang decides to help him find bigger facilities. Soon, however, the animals are running loose through the city, destroying everything (including the Cabbage Salesman's cart). Aang uses Appa's whistle to get them out of town, into the farming area of the city, and uses Earthbending to make a better environment for them. Children flock to the zoo to see the animals.

    The Tale of Sokka

Sokka finds a haiku class full of pretty girls; while peeking through the window, he is shoved from behind by an animal and winds up getting into a haiku contest with the annoyed teacher. Eventually he messes up (adding an extra syllable to the final line) and is thrown out.

    The Tale of Zuko

Zuko is invited on a date by a patron of the tea shop he works in. The date is odd with Zuko not acknoledging they are on a date. Zuko risks firebending on the date (with his date's eyes closed) to light some candles. When it looks like Zuko is about to kiss her he gives her a coupon for free tea. Then the girls kisses him, he kisses her back but quickly leaves to return to the tea shop. He says he enjoyed the night.

    The Tale of Momo

Finally is Momo's day. He has a dream about Appa and follows a cloud, and a tree that look like Appa. Momo gets into some trouble with so Catmonkeys who chase him and attack him. While trying to escape he gets caught up in a monkey show, but the catmonkeys attack him there and they are all taken to the "pound". Momo escapes but goes back and frees the catmonkeys. They lead him to a footprint which looks like it was made by Appa in return.

Right! I looked in the credits and his name was still under 'Uncle' so Mako had been able to VA this epi. I was curious, after hearing he sounded kinda different.

Don't forget the whole Uncle thinks your our most valued customer thing. You'd have to be blind to miss the implied meaning behind that.

With the exception of our two Firebenders, I wasn't too plussed with this episode. To much sight humor, Katara/Toph's tale was fundamentally boring. Maybe I'd get more of a satisifaction if I was a girl ridiculed for my appearance, but for me, I didn't feel. Sokka's tale was just too outrageous, and really, quite expected. I was impressed with the teacher's excellent thinking with her haiku, though. Aang's tale really didn't focus as much on looking for Appa as I would have wanted, and Momo's tale seemed like it was tacked on to fill up the time.

Zuko's tale was interesting, but I expected it. I like how he has progressed over the series, and I think this actually helped because he was very kind to Jen. I tend not to like filler episodes unless they help grow the character, and that was precisely the kind of interaction Zuko needed. I must say, interesting to see him in new clothes, although the hair was really bad (reminded me almost of Hitler's hairstyle)

Now, Iroh's tale was wonderful, easily the best and most emotional. I actually wasn't expecting him to have a memorial for Lu Ten (I don't read spoilers), but it was very emotional and it really highlighted an important interaction we never really got to see personally yet.

Enough of Zuko! What about Katara and Toph? What are they up to in this ep? I really want to know. Katara and Toph are my two favorite characters! I really like the name Katara made up for herself in last week's ep. It was really pretty.

I LOOOOOOVVVVVED the toph Katara one! It felt like they took that straight from ff.net. I do not wish to do a spoiler for it ryuins the perpose of the show but wait 2, 3 days and look for it on the internet or just watch it on Sunday... but you will LOVE it. The Tale of Iroh made me cry at the end when he sung.

The Tale of Zuko... oh....my.... (i see you reading this Ms.Gaston) stars!!! So incredibly fluffy and OOCness! To think they would make a filler epi. like that...

The Tale of Momo was absolutley precious. The creator of Avatar were right, we SHOULD be focusing more on the Mopa pairing. *smirk*
