When will you humans learn that your feelings as you call them stand in the way of big cash payouts.

Ahhhh, its the never ending war, stop this insanity, they must show the boiling rock fast, I cant take it any longer even after ( at least 30,000 posts ), it never stop. GO ZUTARA ! P.S.( Katara doesnt hate Zuko anymore, it was obvious in the FMs. ) |
kamzts, for the love of everything, STOP WITH THE MULTIPOSTS.
Now, onto the relationship argument. All we know from the kiss is that Aang finally got the balls to tell Katara that he loves her and that doesn't reveal anything new.

The kiss is at 00:20-00:24 marks. However, pay attention to Katara's expression at the 00:26 mark. Ladies, correct me if I'm wrong, but if the man of your dreams just kissed you, wouldn't you at least be smiling afterwards? Katara is looking away as if this was some awkward situation that she just got put into. I'll admit, in "The Headband" she was clearly jealous of Aang and that girl dancing, but this nullifies that.
As for threatening Zuko at the end of "The Western Air Temple", she's threatening him because she knows that if he's after anyone, he's after Aang. He doesn't really have any bad blood against Toph, he doesn't know those three new guys, and he's never really cared about Katara or Sokka when they were enemies except for the fact that they were helping the avatar. All her attention towards Aang throughout the whole series, even after the kiss has been in a motherly way. I'm not saying that all of this proves that Zuko and Katara are going to be together, I'm saying it proves that Katara and Aang won't.
There is a small amount of evidence for Zuko and Katara, though. First off, nothing in season one matters. The fights between Zuko and Katara during the season finale prove that. Zuko asked Katara to give up Aang and she wouldn't get hurt; that's all. If he loved her, he would have at least tried harder to get Aang without hurting her. After they find Aang and Zuko in the frozen tundra, Katara makes no effort to save Zuko, she doesn't even agree with Aang that they should save him.
Ok, now the evidence. In CoD, Zuko lets Katara touch his scar, which is something that we've seen he is very sensitive about. The only other girl that has been allowed to touch it is Mai and we know he loves her. So, we see that he at least holds Katara in some level of high regards. I'm not saying it's love, I'm saying it's high regards. For Katara's side, her actions, demeanor, pattern of speech, and overall defense mechanism against Zuko in "The Western Air Temple" and "The Firebending Masters" were identical to the way they were towards Jet in Ba Sing Se. And, as our resident lie detector revealed, she still had feelings for him. That shows that she has some unresolved feelings of affection towards Zuko; and yes, it is unresolved affection.
So maybe Aang has feelings for Katara, who has feelings for Zuko that she won't admit to, who's still in love with Mai.
Personally, I think that putting Zuko in that kind of predicament is right up the writers' alley.

Neither was the WAT, but we got some good Zutara information from that. |
The thing about the DOBS kiss is, arguments from both sides seem very feeble.
teh zutarian arguments that try to explain away this:
and this: are very feeble.
but at the same time the kataang arguments that try to explain away this:
and this:
are just as bad.
so the kiss really does get nowhere with these debates.

Ow, check my new catchphrase: 'Zuko went officially from Angsty to AANGsty!' Heyhey, you know I'm genius . Or did someone else also think of this?

They should or maybe they should take them to some place and leave them there. |

Hate to burst your bubble, but I highly doubt that Mai is going to join the gaang. That's so unMai-ish. I think her and Zuko aren't going to be together again until the finale, maybe they'll run into each other before then(the picture from comic con where Mai is in a cell with someone who looks a lot like Zuko), but she's not going to join the gaang.
