Sokka ship?

    Agreed. I want them to at least be good comrades, but it's because it's most efficient when fighting. If they hate each other it could prove a weakness and I want them to be a mean, lean, kick @ss machine when fighting The "evil ones" after all we're close to the end.

    i would like to see them become friends by the end of the series just so its not all negative feelings when they fight but yeah i'm not for zutara in a romantic way

    i was wondering when someone would bring this up.

    if zuko and katara don't become friends i will be very pi$$ed off. why? as you said, one of the main themes of the show is redemption. zuko has redeemed himself by righting his wrong under ba sing se, now he has to redeem himself to his uncle, whom he betrayed, and to katara, whom he betrayed.

    zuko's character still has a long way to go, and zuko needs to prove to katara he has changed, otherwise his character won't be complete by the end of the series. i suspect that this will happen in the boiling rock.

    as to whether or not it will lead to romance, i say that if enough happens in the boiling rock to lead to it i may consider the possibility. i'll keep and open mind to the possibilities.

    So I like Tokka what's the big deal. Why dont I get it? Your the one who doesnt get it. At least I open my mind and look at the facts that point to kataang there is no evidence what so ever for zutara.

    i think the creators will leave it to be ambiguous as to who Katara will choose at the end

    eg. a group hug.

    It would be quite annoying but could abruptly end the argument once and for all(irritating a lot of overly invested fans as well)

    and zutarans dont even watch the tv screen, and last time i checked people get information about releationships from the shows, not fanfics or fanart because they are the only places you will ever find zutara


    You are so right. Zutara can only happen in your dreams and in fanfics. If you didnt realize my username: kamzts stands for Katara+Aang, Mai+Zuko, and Toph+Sokka.


    So you ship all the ships that aren't going to happen! But thats ok, its what you prefer and I do respect that.


    Are you seriuos my friend is the one who ships all the ships that arent going to happen: Zutara, Taang, Sukka(that one is probably going to happen though) Even as a Zutara fan she is smart enough to know that kataang is going to happen.

    And Katara hates Zuko.

    No matter which ship you support Katara's feelings for one of them will have to change in some form. It seems far more likely that Katara's "motherly" relationship with Aang can change to one of mutual romance, than Katara forgiving Zuko, then befriending him, and THEN falling in love with him.

    You can't say your ship will happen, you have no realistic proof.


    I do have realistic proof. I KNOW Katara's feelings for Aang is motherly and as a close friend(CoD and DoBS proves it. If you don't know what I am talking about then I don't know what else to say). The creator's said that Katara will be with either Aang or Zuko. Since I am CERTAIN that Kataang is not going to happen. Then Zutara MUST happen. If A has to = B or C and we find out that A =/= B then A must = C.

    I have nothing more to say!


    How does the DOBS prove zutara it proves kataang half the time katara was surprised the other half she kissed him back.

    Katara will definently lighten up on Zuko. I dont care if they become friends.

    here's a question, if the ship you don't support happens, what will you do?

    for me it depends, if they make a decent build up and don't just pull it out of the blue, and make it look good, i wouldn't mind a zutara ending. but if zuko and katara randomly just make out in the finale i will be annoyed.

    what about you guys? thoughts? opinions?

    If the story guides it to a particular ending I wouldn't mind too much; I'd be slightly annoyed with a Zutara ending but don't really care as long as the writing is good.

    I would be pretty annoyed if Zutara happened. It would be weird to see them turn Hate into love in jsut 8 episodes that need to cover alot of more important things like the white lotas.

    If Sukka happens I won't mind but If Toph doesnt end up with somebody i'll be mad. I dont care if she ends up with some guy we haven't met as long as she ends up with some one.

    If something other than Maiko happened thats not Toka I will be almost as annoyed as I would be with Zutara. The emo couple were so cute together. Zutara cant happen though. The main character has to get his girl and thats Katara. It would not be a happy ending if he didn't (that is for everyone but Zutarians and that doesnt include the people who dont do shippings)

    If Zuko and Katara don't get together, I won't care as long as Zuko gets someone fun, like Jin. Mai's just too dull and boring to be paired with Zuko.

    If Katara and Aang get together, Ozi better kill Aang. Because I do not want to see some cop-out about the Avatar State saying "Oh, you only have to let go of what attaches you the most to this world for a few moments. Then you can have it again." That would be more of plot killer than anyone could ever say that Zuko and Katara being together could ever be.

    Here's another question for all: How do you think your main relationship is going to happen, if it isn't in effect already?

    As far as the Katara thing goes, I'm going to say this: She's going to bloodbend again and it's going to be against whoever killed her mother. I think that, since she considers it so wrong, whoever stops her from going through with it and killing the guy will be the one that she chooses. It may be during "The Southern Raiders" but it's definately going to be against the firebender that killed her mother.
