    no, avatar ends in s3, but the creators have promised they are not done with the avatar world just yet (more or less quote from comic con), meaning there will be a spinoff, don't worry.

    Don't worry.There will be a 4th season but with new characters.Wait thats bad.I am going to miss Aang and the gang,Zuko,Iroh, and the other great characters.

    Katara CAN bend water from the air. I was just searching through Avatar Spirit's screenshots of the third season's trailer when I saw Katara in her FN clothes, sweating inside some sort of wooden container, when she lifts her hand and makes a length of water slash!

    omg i just went online to nick.com to c if anything avatar had come up and they had the entire episode for the headband chapter 2 there i didnt watch it cuz i didnt want to spoil it but i think there must be sumthing wrong with the website or sumthing o and where did u get the pics they r awesome!!!

    Guess the gaang won't defeat the fn bf Sozin's Comet.

    why? sozin's comet and day of black sun are two totally unrelated celestial events, the only similarity they have is that they affect firbenders, they are occuring on different dates.

    btw, when id DOTBS occuring? timewise, i'd guess 1/2way through summer but i don't know.

    btw, DOTBS is day of the black sun, official abbreviation invented by me (if you invented first feel free to tell me)

    If the Day of the Back Sun takes place during Chapter 10 and we know there will be at least 20 Episodes you can conclude that the fn, whether that be Fired lord Ozai or lead by Azula or Zuko won't have been defeated yet, unless the following chapters after 10 are just about peace and stuff. Besides the creators have said the the season will end with an epic battle, probably when the fn has harnessed the power of Sozin's comet.
