here is my theory.

At the end of season 2, a general said that the Day of Black Sun was in exactly 2 months. Aang was said by Katara to have been out for a couple of weeks (i am guessing around 2) the seasons are usually 3 months longs. Now, due to that, I think that the DOBS will be around episode 10 and 11, since that is a tv movie. due to clues from the dvd and preview, i would say that Aang will shave his head around episode 10 so that he can fight proudly. also, i belive azula will be overthrown around this time. why? in the trailer, azula is knocked out of her thrown by earthbending and air swiped by a hairless aang. she seemed to have no defense towards that, leading me to believe she had no bending due to the eclipse. I am not sure about the rest of the season, but i do think the show will end with a Fire nation on the brink of being taken down, untill Ozai remembers the comet and uses it for one last effort and almost wins, but the gaang stop him.

that was pretty logical, don't ya think so?

it is good theory but the trailer only shown stuff until episode 4, so if they are not changing their outfits in the PL that can only mean it will be in episode 4: Sokka's Master

I just realize something the first ten episodes will air every week
Nick showing the invasion and then lets us wait weeks to find out what happens
So we see the invasion but after that theories and discussions for a couple of weeks or month

Oddly enough, I was just reading that episode summary in Wikipedia, and they mentioned that it would be exactly two months - in August, which means the final battle of BaSingSe happened sometime in June.

Someone posted the iTunes spoilers a few days ago, in which it gives away that Azula will foil the attack on the attack during Black Sun (assuming it's true). The GAang do carry on after that obviously, so assume the there are two big battles and final battle comes on or before the arrival of the comet.

We see parts of the comet (Or a super charged Azula/iroh/ozai/zuko etc with blue fire from comet) falling in the Trailer, so invasion wont be at the end of the season for sure

DAM IT!!!! because of ppl BLURTING OFF about Avatar portal ALLLLLLL the episodes (Season 1, 2, and beginning of 3) have been REMOVED!!!! Here in Australia we dont even have the 3rd disk of Season 1, so that was the only place were u could watch episodes easily
