Well, the new poll is up. By the way, I didn't misspell any of the choices, I copied and pasted the titles so you could see how these noobs tend to misspell.

Since I was wrong about the Whip Guy being the final villain, I'll make another assumption of his identity.

We know the kids are going to be on Ember Island during 'The Ember Island Players' episode. The previous episode is 'The Southern Raiders,' where the new baddie is supposed to appear. I'm assuming this means the bad guy is going to have to be in the proximity of the island since it appears Katara and Zuko go looking for him on foot.

Now, who do we know of who's staying at Ember Island? Admiral Chan. Never seen, but mentioned twice (once in 'The Awakening' by a FN officer and again in 'The Beach' by his son, also named Chan). These 2 moments seem inconsequential and appear to be throwaway information separately. But put them together and one has to wonder why it was worth mentioning a faceless man more than once.

Yeah, I've heard the Admiral Chan theory before. I'm going to be kind of disappointed, though, if he only shows up for one episode.

So did Hama. She played her part well IMO. If the episode is handled well and wraps up everything, then there's no reason for him to be seen again.

Maybe. But I prefer the multiple encounters model.

Thats true I mean come on how dumb would it have ben t put Admiral Jhao (is that how its spelt) in one episode. A villain is made epic by his ultimate badass appearances in trying to thrawt the gangs plans. Hence Jhao is the ultimate badass.

Ok just random question. Is anyone elses pics in their sig not showing up?

It's actually spelled Zhao, and yes, Zhao was epic!

Also, if your pictures aren't, try clicking the insert picture button, then put in the direct link from photo bucket. That's the easiest way to put a picture. It's less stressful than using HTML codes.

The finale is gonna be epic just based on the names (that and the fact that it's Avatar).

I don't think he's meant to be a recurring villain. This show already has plenty of those. And like I said, a villain doesn't need multi episodes to prove how evil they are. Hama is a prime example. Besides, I have a strange feeling he's not so evil anymore.

To speculate further on "The Southern Raiders," I think we might get a reformed (or weakened) villain and the person he wronged in the past (Katara in this case) is going to have to decide whether to take revenge or not; to kill or not to kill, that is the question.

The reason I believe this is because I don't think Katara is going to kill someone in cold blood, and the only reason she wouldn't do that to the person who killed her mother is if she takes pity on the person.

But whether that's the case or not, don't expect the next Zhao/Long Feng/Combustion Man.

I've been thinking about that as well. It really add to the story and Katara's character if she decides to kill him or not.

I also think the rest of the gang might show up right before she makes the choice. I think Hakoda will have left for whatever reason before this, but Sokka will be there. I really think that line he said about not remembering his mother's face is going to come into play in this episode.

They haven't really spoke about Ba Sing Se or Omashu, so maybe in The Old Masters, that's when the White Lotus comes in, and I dunno helps? I wonder if they'll fully explain white the White Lotus is about.

Avatar Aang, does that not sound like the most vague title in the world?

Speaking about the baddie in the upcoming episode...is there any possibilty that Iroh could have been responsible for the raid in the Souther Water Tribe? You know, back when he was a "different man" ..

Holy darn you have just come up with of the most intersting points I have heard in a long time. Seriously I have never heard anyone think of this.

In response your point timeline wise it is possible, Iroh started the 600 day seige on Ba Sing Se 7 years before Aang woke up from the iceberg. Speculation is the raid took place 8-6 years prior to 101. Another point i'm intested is, WHy did they raid?

According to 308 they pretty much decimated what was left of the SOuthern Water Tribe 52 years prior, so why keep raiding? Perhaps to show them who was boss? TO rough them up a bit?I think it was to check up that no water benders were born into the tribe.

Well firstly, the guy responsible is someone we never met before, hence 'new villain.' Secondly, Iroh was a general, a person who leads an army. Armies are more for land battles whereas a navy would be more suitable for raids on frozen seas.

(I'm posting this in two threads, because I really like it.)

Based off of the trailer scenes, and what nneds to happen before 317, here's my idea for "The Southern Raiders."

    • Zuko notices that Katara still doesn't trust him. He tryies talking to her, but she gets even angrier at him. She talks about all the atroscities the Fire Nation has done to her (and the World in general), and she storms away.
    • Zuko gets depressed, and Hakoda tries to help. At this point, he explains the Southern Raids, and we get a flashback of the Old Tribe. (It goes through a bunch of things with Katara and Sokka as little kids. Then, of course, we see how Katara's Mother died.) Zuko feels extremely guilty, and tries talking to Katara again. He talks about his own mother, and the things that his father did. He explains that the best way to overcome problems is to become stronger. (he uses his own life as an example.) Katara agrees,a nd asks Zuko to go somehwere with her.
    • So, they take the stolen Airshp back into the Fire Nation. They land in a discrete location. Then, we get teh Ninja running scenes back to Hama's village. They break her out of prison (which obviously wouldn't be that hard, since its probably just in that mountain again.) She trains Katara, and starts using her anger to make her a stronger bender. (Using the image of her mother) We get the Rain-Stopping scene.
    • At this point, I'm just guessing, Hama might try to hurt Katara agian, and Zuko could save her.
    • They fly back to the Western Air Temple, but of course, Azula convienently notices her old Airship. (I don't know why Azula would be in the Area, but who knows...) With stronger Airships, Azula manages to beat Zutara back to the Western Air Temple.
    • When Zuko and Katara arrive, Aang, Sokka, Suki, and Toph are escaping on Appa. Hoevering near the window of the Ariships, Aang explains that The Three Stooges, Hakoda, and Chit Sang, are still at the temple. Not willing to lose another parent, Katara tries going back to the Temple. Zuko doesn't let her, and may force her to stay with Aang. he truns the Stolen Airhsip around to block Azula's airship. He manages to partially dock on one point of the Temple, and the Other Guys manage to get on. Azula gives chase, and Zuko tells Chit Sang to get the balloon out of here.
    • Hence, we get the Zuko balloon jumping scene. He fights Azula on her Airship, and it ends with a huge explosion. The New Airship is destroyed, and Zuko and Azula start to fall. The Gang, on Appa, manage to catch him. Being a peaceful guy, Aang regretfully saves Azula as well. They leave her on a part of the temple and escape.
    • The Gang tells The Other Guys to fly somehwere safe, and promises they'll do the same. That's when they head to Ember Island...

WOW! That's just it. Wow! I mean, that sounds like an awesome episode and I would definately watch it, but there is one thing that I just can't picture. The Gaang saving Azula on Appa. Yea it is like Aang to be kind to everyone but, Azula? I can't see it happening. And uh... great job on making this. I can see you put a lot of thought into this. *holds up sign* 9.5

Thanks, and about the Azula thing. I figured she would have to be saved by somebody. And if her enemies where the ones to save her, that may add more to her eventual breakdown.

Here's what I think is gonna happen in Act II of The Ember Island Players. (Its based off my own ideas and those new DVD pics...and I'm just bored.)

    • I guess when Act I is over, they have a intermission. A theatre attendent proably passes out the Act II Poster. (The one that Zuko is holding is yellow-ish, like the Book 2 cover, and its definitly not the same as the Act I poster.)
    • At that point, Toph relizes that she's being played by a man. Zuko, who also looks depressed, or just reading, notices his random haircuts.(If you don't know what I mean, check that video with all the actors. Zuko's actor has like 2 different haircuts, spoofing how many times it changed in Book 2.)
    • Since "musical nomads" contributed stuff, we know were getting a Cave of Two Lovers parody.
    • Some stuff may be exaggerated, since nobody was with the Gang at certain points.
    • I'm really hoping that Zuko's Self-Discovery stuff gets parodied.
    • If Jin contributed something, and may exaggerate her date with Zuko into a romantic epic or something. (To begin with, i think his actor is gonna be over-dramatic in Act II.)
    • I think it would be really great if an attendent came out at the end, and said "In about 9 months, we shall be adding a Third Act."
