i hope that happens, then the episode would be truely epic, ecept one problem, i think when that kataang kiss happened in the trailer they were already at ember island

Whos to say that they don't travel to Ember Island at the end of 316? Alot can happen in one episode. And remember when Sokka and Suki announce the play to the Gaang in the 317 clip, they say they have been around town. Kind if indicates they may have been there for awhile.
yeh maybe but i think they would separate the episodes from one another, also coz i was looking at the awesome trailer again last night, do you think the war baloon scene will be in southern raiders? or i think it could be at the start of ember island players because other wise the episode may cause brain disease to people because it would be so purely awesome lol

No, it would be so awesome people will stab their eyes out, to preserve the episode as the last thing they ever saw.
They'd regret after they realise they wouldn't be able to watch the finale. lol

Nah the episode will be so epic that people will stab their eyes out... burn them, boil them in lactic acid and then cry because they cant see the finale? But wait how can they cry, they have NO EYES!!!!!!!! dun dun dun.

Anywyas to your query, YES i think the baloon scene is from 316, as well as all the air scenes on Appa and Suko falling etc. And when they grab Zuko thats them leaving, because they don't have Teo, The Duke, Hakoda, Ginseng and Haru, and they don't appear in the finale (hpefully!) Anyways, the battle you can tell is at the Western Air Temple because of the huge canoyon that they fight in looks like it. And the Katara and Zuko mission? WIll hapen after the battle. The battle will be short, basically Azula attacking them after the Boiling ROck. Then they go to ember island blah blah and so on.
Only probem with this theory, its seems WAY too much to fit into two episodes
So wat ya think? Lol you dont even want to see my thoughts on the finale!

*reads poll* What do I think the Phoenix Lord is? Here's an analogy:

    King : Emperor

    AS

    Fire Lord : Phoenix Lord

In other words, I believe that Phoenix Lord is just a name to suit an Empire, which the Fire Nation has become with the conquering of Ba Sing Se. Fire Lord only pertains to a kindom/lordom or what ever the frill the Fire Nation is, and Phoenix Lord pertains to an Empire.

Nah, I think "The Phoenix Lord" is like the Fire Nation's version of the pope.

Anyway, I'm interested in this talk of a new villain in the upcoming episodes. You know, the supposed killer of Sokka and Katara's mother...or is that a bust?

Well, indulge me... I was thinking (or rather hoping) it's some real psychotic former fire nation general (makes Azula and Combustion Man look positively cuddly by comparison, you know, a Hannibal Lector type) who some years ago attempted to overthrow Ozai and was sent to his own prison island for it. Ozai "reactivates" him, so to speak, saying he can get his old command back if he finds and destroys the gaang.

I'm thinking his firebending will have a new twist to it, like his flames are black or something like that.

Anyway...now that I've got THAT out of my system.

BTW, waterbender6025, your name is "waterbender" but you have Toph for your icon? *head explodes at the incongruity*

I already posted this on another thread, but just so everyone knows...

It is now 99% confirmed that the new episodes from July 14-18 will be at 8PM/7PM central. I say 99% because the source is Nick.com, and Nick has an obsessive tendancy to change things literally 5 minutes before they are supposed to start. But assuming that it's legit....

    THAT'S PRIME TIME! OH YEAH!

By the way it doesn't say what time the finale will air, but it does say Saturday, July 19.

Ok, I've just finished updating the first post once again. Now, it has airing times, more information in the credits, and some fixed typ-o errors. Also, once the poll reaches 50 votes, I'l' change it.

Since I was wrong about the Whip Guy being the final villain, I'll make another assumption of his identity.

We know the kids are going to be on Ember Island during 'The Ember Island Players' episode. The previous episode is 'The Southern Raiders,' where the new baddie is supposed to appear. I'm assuming this means the bad guy is going to have to be in the proximity of the island since it appears Katara and Zuko go looking for him on foot.

Now, who do we know of who's staying at Ember Island? Admiral Chan. Never seen, but mentioned twice (once in 'The Awakening' by a FN officer and again in 'The Beach' by his son, also named Chan). These 2 moments seem inconsequential and appear to be throwaway information separately. But put them together and one has to wonder why it was worth mentioning a faceless man more than once.

What is the Phoenix Lord? I've heard that Ozai created the Phoenix Lord position so that he can give Azula the Fire Lord position, but still be in control. It's sort of like a hand-me-down and Ozai is getting something even greater, even if he just makes it up.

Yeah, I've heard the Admiral Chan theory before. I'm going to be kind of disappointed, though, if he only shows up for one episode.

Actually, I think the whip guy was that guard in The Boiling Rock who kept abusing Chi-Sang...

So did Hama. She played her part well IMO. If the episode is handled well and wraps up everything, then there's no reason for him to be seen again.

Maybe. But I prefer the multiple encounters model.

For a poll. There have been half a dozen failed threads just today. Might as well see which is in fact The Worst Thread Ever.
