    didn't poseidon try freeing the titans from tartarus? (something hades was accused of doing in the film) or have i got an innacurate source?

    eh more then likely. ANOTHER THING THE MOVIE GOT WORNG!!! Not all the titians were locked in the same place. Some were thrown in Tartarus, some locked under the sea, some trapped on Olympus, and others locked on earth.

    she was born from the thing cronus cut off his dad, it fell into the sea, and from the foam she was born, i guess you could classify her as a titan because of that, but she's considered an olympian, the same way loki is considered an aesir even though both of his parents were giants,(going into norse mythology i know but it's a good example) most of the olympians were born of the titans, or at least 1 titan. but in most accounts this was the way she was born, even though other accounts say otherwise, this is the problem with religion, they don't have 1 story they stick to, there's always a variation of the story. like the gospels, there are 2 stories of jesus' birth and 2 of his death (i think) and they differ slightly, they can't even get their facts straight!
