maybe a series about the avatars in the spirit world. How do they decide when to help the current avatar? Do they sit around a big table like Justice Leauge? And what do they think of the current avatar? Do they go "God this guy's a moron..." ? What goes on in there past avatars? JK!! That would be dumb. Btw, hour long mini-sodes? Ladies & gentlmen, the definition of Mini has just been expanded.

That is why I always differentiate between mini-episodes/hour-long movies....there is a big difference. Of course, enough mini-episodes would eventually equal an hour-long movie, but that would be annoying to split a story into that many mini-episodes if it could equal a one-hour movie.

I would much rather split it up. It gives us more time for speculation and it keeps us on our toes. Of course, as long as no ridiculously long hiatuses are taken

If the show were to go forward with new episodes, they would be just that. I don't think it would make much sense to explain a previous avatar, because we already know how the world is going to turn out because of Aang, so really, learning about an old Avatar is unexciting. A new episodes would have to revolve around a new avatar, whether that is the one after Aang or one further on. it would make sense for the show to follow a new avatar because we already know the previous lives.

Although following the first avatar would be interesting, I think anything set in the past works better as a min-movie or a piece of a current episode. The avatar world should move forward, not backwards.

Point! there would be no speculation about "will the mole people dystory the world?" or something like that b/c obviously, they dont.

Well, time can do wonders. Even if the Avatar failed, in thousands of years I'm sure something would restore balance. I know that "even the Avatar wouldn't be able to restore balance" if Ozai won, but I do think that if given a few hundred years things might change. Plus, an Avatar can fail and life can still go on. Roku failed, remember? He didn't stop Sozin. That didn't keep the world from turning.

Since we know how the story will eventually unfurl you believe there would be no point in doing a sequel? That is what I call "stinkin thinkin." We knew how Anakin's and Obi-Wan's story would unfurl, so did that detract from Revenge of the Sith? How about the prequel storyline during The Godfather II? Also, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom should never have been made because it transpired before Raiders of the Lost Ark. A new series set before Aang would be interesting...even if we already know that the "mole people" do not destroy the world.

I don't think that there will be mini-episodes, though. My Aunt knows Jack DeSena and she hasn't mentioned anything. I had to explain to her why Jack wasn't included in the movie. She thought she was giving me a spoiler But her son is a huge Avatar fan, and she tends to tell me and him everything she can get. Of course, I refuse finale spoilers and such, but she does tell me about the future sometimes (if she knows about it before I do, which is rare). She hasn't mentioned anything at all about mini-episodes or hour long episodes. So, either the gAang won't be included in it (because she also knows the father of the voice of Zuko), or there is no such thing.

Does your Aunt work at Nick? Or is she just a personal friend to them?

Personal friend. That's why I'm not sure about the mini-episodes. He might be bound not to say anything.

I never said I was against a sequel. I would hang out with a clown for a whole day (I have clownaphobia) for a sequel! I just don't think a pre-Aang sequel would be the way to go. (Personally I would hang out w/ 2 clowns for one about Aang & the gaang)

I would throw up if it was for Aang and the rest of the gAang. I would be disappointed in Bryke as well. The storyline is done, finished. By continuing it, we would have absolutely no plot line. The Avatar saved the world, show's over. Mini episodes would explain the rest. A whole 'nother season would kill the series. There's nothing left to write a season about.

Yea, avatar doesn't really need a plot line, it's more about character development besides the plot could be rebuilding the world, it was left in ruins for the most part. I say they should make a villain master unbending and start stealing everyones bending abilities.

Every show needs a plot. Plus, all the character development has been done. Everyone is developed out. And they can't make a "villain master" do the same thing Aang did. You have to have a pure soul, which a villain can't have.

A show needs a plot otherwise it would turn into something like spongebob *runs away in horror*

Would it be so bad if they did Chibi/mini-episodes/online comics for the post-war Gaang? I mean... It's not like it's violating the "THE END" rule or anything. Just giving you a little look at the future.

VIOLATION! The story ended too perfectly. I don't want anymore information than this. I think that they gave us just enough to keep us satisfied, but little enough to keep us speculating. Chibis are okay, because those are jokes. Same with comics. Not mini episodes. I don't want to further the gAang's story anymore. It's done. There's no more characters to develop, no more plot to follow, no more anything. Anything more than this would be overkill.
