You may not want more information, but I am guessing millions of Avatards want an answer to (at least) one question...wtf is up with Ursa? Her fate is the one major question that did not get answered during the finale. At Comic-Con, MDD said they hope to answer it someday, and I suspect they will.

Personally, I think that refusing to answer the question of Ursa's whereabouts was a purposeful effort by Bryke to keep the fandom going. Two years is a long time to wait, and the memory of this niggling unanswered question could well prove to keep the fandom active with fanfics and theories (no doubt many have already appeared). However, there is still the next comic-con. Bryke have said that Avatar will be there, and I am certain that it will be with some form of news - perhaps about the movies, perhaps about Ursa, and perhaps even about the rumored mini-series/hour long movies (about which they no doubt recieve several thousand emails every day).

Does anyone know the time and place of the next comic-con?

There are two major Comic-Cons; one in NYC and on in San Diego. The one that just transpired was the CC in San Diego. The NYC CC transpires in early February.

Oh, you're one of those...How do u know? Don't knock it till u try it.
Yea, avatar doesn't really need a plot line, it's more about character development besides the plot could be rebuilding the world, it was left in ruins for the most part. I say they should make a villain master unbending and start stealing everyones bending abilities.

A show needs a plot otherwise it would turn into something like spongebob *runs away in horror*

no everyone show needs a theme, almost no good series that i watched had a plot throughout the whole storyline, most of them didn't even have a main plot just a bunch of events unraveling and over half of the episodes in avatar had nothing to do with the main plot, basically just the ones where they are looking for teachers and the last episode and thats it.

Don't agree with you sorry. A plot is like a base that gives a story a sense of direction, yes you can get other stories and subplots branching out from the main plot like some episodes in Avatar but the story will time and again will return back to the main plot. You can't make an entire show on a theme, because theme is just a message you want to get across through the story. There would be nothing that keeps the episodes flowing if there is no plot.

probably theme was a bad choice of words on my part, I mean more like just create a world put some characters in it and press play

I'd give you a cookie, but you deserve far better than that. So instead I give you this Yoda Cookie, for being a true Avatard and OWL:

Am I the only one who thinks an Avatar series where the Avatar isn't a main character could be good?

We already know a great deal about Zuko. There's not much more we need to know. Although we don't know the tiny tiny details, we know how his life played out. The younger audience wouldn't be interested.

They could possibly do a series focusing on the FN's transformation from a war-based society to a more peaceful one. It could introduce revolutionaries that want to turn the FN into a republic, loyalists to Zuko, and conservative factions that want to reinstall Ozai as the reigning monarch. This would probably bore the younger ones to death and only interest a political science major like myself...but I like the idea...no matter how improbable it is.
