Y'know, whilst I watch the preview over and over and over again something comes to mind. For those who have seen it, when Zuko looks away from a bald guy right when they say the whole must choose their paths thing something comes to mind. He's wearing the long sleeve shirt thing that we saw him wearing with him/Katara scene. That makes me think that that scene was from when the Dai Li or whoever it was took Zuko and Katara to the cave. Because, if you notice, whenever you see Azula or Iroh in the scene or whenever Zuko is firebending he's not wearing that long sleeve shirt anymore. Just thought I'd point that out because some think it might be from when Zuko is trying to decide whether to go with Azula or Iroh. IMO, I don't think Zuko has a problem staying with Iroh simply because of all the stuff she's done to both of them. But that's just me...

I have no idea when he's able to switch outfits but it was the first thing I noticed in the preview when i watchted it! :]]

Maybe the "at all" is because Aang has reached some point in his AS training where there is no turning back: either he controlls it totally or loses it forever.

that could be possible... but what would make Aang decide to leave in such a critical time? do you think while he's training he catchs a glimpse of what is happening, or whats going to happen in ba sing se while he's gone?

That "bald" man is in fact Iroh. What looks like shading at first glance is actually grey hair connected to a beard.

Well, Aang goes into the Avatar State in the cave. At the end of the preview you see him with a rock wall behind him and I believe it's the cave. That means, since the Guru said he couldn't go into the Avatar State at all if he leaves, Aang finished his training at SUPERSPEED!!!! and came to the rescue. But the question is...did he give up Katara like the Guru said he'd have to....I hope so because Aang doesn't need anything holding him back. And I don't want to world to be doomed because of his "love."

Ahhhhh.....I see it now...Man that sucks. I REALLY had to look at it too. I guess since it was recorded by a camera from the TV and the outcome isn't so good it was hard to tell. Thank you for correcting me!

Any speculation on what happened to Mai and Ty Lee? They always seem to be left to do other "buisness" while Azula takes on the big problem. Yea, I'm getting??a feeling that someone may die............

Or they're taking care of the Earth King or something like that. Probably guarding the cave entrance like some skinny long haired bouncers. That would be funny.

I'm almost positive now. That giant version of Aang all stared up was the representation of the Avatar State in Aang's mind, the Guru did his spiritual stuff(that he did for Appa to find Aang) so Aang can become one with his Avatar State instead of being controlled by it(that's why the giant starred up version of Aang is holding the smaller version of Aang in that sphere), but it must be a one shot deal. Either Aang unites with the Avatar State completely, or he'll be forever cut off from it and have to go the rest of his jouney without the awesome power the Avatar State brings...and saying Aang will have to let go of Katara must mean that when he finds out she's in trouble he'll have to choose between mastering the Avatar State or rescuing Katara(and possibly Toph) and never going AS again...

zDBZ?? I thought you belonged to the DP reviews... yeah, the guy who made me an addict of this place...

About Mai and Ty Lee I guess they are there, but we haven't seen them yet (only God knows how many people are inside that cave), or maybe with Toph and Sokka

I was just thinking that-a very popular cave. Maybe Azula destroyed all of Ba Sing Se and it is just one giant cave

omg i just had a thought i read somewhere that the dia lee are in the cave while everyone is fighting. Maybe when azula says we have to work together, she is talking to the four of them. In the episode "the earth king" at the end it showed that the dia lee were still loyal to long feng. Maybe long feng has an evil plot to take over ba sing se or something like that. THen , if you look closely, when Iroh is blowing fire, the dia lee are behind him. And when katara does the octopus, dia lee are surrounding her. So i think the person who will die will be long feng. Thats my conclusion!??

well again, here's my take from page 1 of this thread on all the talk about Aang 'giving up' Katara... I still think this is what it references

    PrimoNation wrote:

I don't think it is a point of giving up Katara forever (and know I don't ship).

I think what is being conveyed here is that Aang has to give up his devotion to Katara as his number one priority.?? Afterall, he promised her he would not go into the Avatar State anymore because it scared her (in the Avatar??State episode)??and he also promised her he would not use firebending anymore after he hurt her (in the Deserter episode).??

Aang's destiny is being blocked by the commitments he has made to Katara.?? He is being stifled from his full potential by allowing her to be first in his thoughts.?? So does this mean he will give up his love for Katara, I don't think so... but I think he needs to come to the realization he cannot keep his promises to her AND save the world.

    As for this...

Getting back to the trailer. Does anyone have any thoughts about giant starry Aang?
I have absolutely no idea what that means! I mean there wasn't anything in the trailer that said what exactly it was. I figure we'll just have to wait on that answer.

Just my speculation, but how interesting it would be if we found out that when controlling the Avatar State you can reach out thru time and dimension... afterall, is that not what Roku did not just once (i.e. showing Aang the past and what could be the future during Winter Soltice) but twice (came to Aang while he was in the Avatar State in same titled episode to explain what it was and what could happen).

So... with that said, is it possible that by being in the Avatar State that Aang may possibly be able to deflect the comet's path from crossing the Avatar World.?? Which means, of course, that Ozai will not be able to harness something he has no access to...

I don't think Aang would be able to enter the spirit world if he doesn't master the Avatar State. I say this because he went all glowy in the season 1 finale and that only happens when he's in the Avatar State. I could be wrong, but if I'm not that means he could be losing more that he realizes because he's the bridge between the spirit and the living world.
