Wow this is a??hard face-off to call. I voted Iroh??because I suspect we've only seen a bare beginning of??his fire-bending prowess. I think King Bumi is an extraordinary earthbender??but I really wonder if it were a battle between even he and Toph who would come out on top?

Iroh however has a little less mad genuis than Bumi and more Spirit World knowledge which I think in some way might offer him the ultimate edge.

How come everyone keeps talking about Bumi, yet he only has one vote? I guess its a good thing they are all on the same side. They are all the best of their element, most definately and it would be a very interesting battle. Knowledge over power sort of thing. *I apologize if this post offends anyone* This will be put after most of my posts considering people get offended over anything sometimes.

no, we dont' know much of Iroh's skills. We haven't even see him lightningbend on screen yet. Iroh still has a lot more where that came from.
We saw a little in the Crossroads of Destiny, besides, he's a bit too old if you ask me. I don't think he would win, other benders have ways of moving besides running, yes, he does have the jet-pack style like Azula did, but who knows if he could do that.
Too old?! LMAO!! Bumi is much??older than Iroh but he moves better than in 20 year old in our world. Iroh is strong enough to swing around BOULDERS with his hands. Age is the last problem guys like these have to worry about.

Bumi would DESTROY Toph. I like Toph a little better than Bumi but Bumi is an innovator, mad genious and has more knowledge and experience than Toph can even imagine. Like I have said in another thread, Toph would be shocked motionless the second Bumi starts Earthbending without moving a muscle and then it's all over for her. So I say Bumi is very evenly matched with Iroh.

That's because they probably haven't voted yet because they can't choose between Iroh and Bumi like I did.

But he never used it on anybody so we never see what kind of techniques he can do with lightning.

You seem to always have your own opinion and I respect that so I won't bother debating.

I'm still going to bank on Monk Gyatso.

His was the most powerful bender in the whole world.

He probably knows more about the spirit world then Iroh and I think he is a genius in his own right. Of course this cannot be confirmed. it is just speculation (maybe we will find out next season.)

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BEND WITHOUT MOVING! Even when Bumi was in the iron sarcaphogus he had to move his face to bend. No ifs ands or buts about it. YOU CANNOT BEND WITHOUT MOVEMENT! Aang bends sometimes by using his lungs, but it's still movement.

Have you guys ever thought that maybe there wouldn't be a winner? Think about it. They epitomize the greatest disciplines in the world and each represents a different element. Ergo, if they ARE the strongest benders(which I believe they are) then all their powers would balance out. I came to this conclusion when I couldn't vote or decide between them.

I say bumi only cause earthbending seems to be the most powerful if used right...

Gyatso I bet would own any of them if we saw how he killed those 5 fire nation soliders... Gyatso is prolly a beast but there's no proof... now if we find out gyatso could suck the air out of the fire benders' lungs well he's obviously gunna win... once u have no air there's not much u can do to retaliate...

I've supported the theory of Airbenders messing with people's bodies, but I recently realized how it would not work the way most people think. If you watch closely, you'll see that in every episode when a bender bends the element starts at the edge of their melee range(this is especially evident in The Crossroads of Destiny). This means that a bender must be in almost contact or have a medium of an element to bend a certain element. If an Airbender tried to suck the air out of someone's lungs or tried to make their lungs explode, they would have to be touching them.

By the way, no element is more powerful than the other(in a cosmic sense).

Yeah, how could you possibly know if he was the most powerful bender in the whole world. Even if he had said that about himself, I have heard similar statements from Bumi, Toph, Zhao, Azula, ect.

Aang has been frozen in an iceberg for 100 years, that could have changed.

Just because he was frozen doesn't mean he can't tell when someone is really powerful.

I meant it that someone could have been born who became more powerful than Bumi. You took it the wrong way, lol.

Well it was english so you'd better brush up. Someone could have been born over the years, while Aang was frozen in the iceberg. One of them could have become more powerful then Bumi, thus taking away his title of "most powerful"

    Comprende?
