Chose love? Chose destiny? Rewatch the episode. Zuko chose love and Aang chose destiny. Love is the path of your passions and can lead you into a blind road towards ruin and betrayal. Destiny is to push aside your loved ones in order to do what must be done. Aang did that when he risked Katara to survive the battle.

You can not say Zuko chose love. He betrayed Iroh, the person he's closest too in the whole world. Aang only did that because Katara was in trouble. I don't think he would have done it if it was just him who was in danger. Saving Katara was the most important thing to him.

Zuko chose passion. He didn't want to join the Avatar out of love, he wanted to restore the pride and honor he loved as a Fire Prince. Aang's choice wasn't to save Katara, it was in fact throwing Katara to the dogs in hope of coming out alive. If he was going to save Katara, he would have done it in his natural state standing beside her until the final blow.

    O_O
I see that very logical... Zuko chose the love of his father over the love of his uncle, and Aang let go all emotions.

I dissagree! Love is not passion. Zuko was siding with his destiny, which he's been obcessed with the whole show, rather than the love for his Uncle and what his heart was telling him was right during the metamorphasis. Aang would NEVER throw Katara to the dogs. If he didn't care he would have ignored his vision in the first place and stayed to finish his training with the guru.
