For people like UGamer, this is probably my last thread. Anyway I'm curious, which bending style is the lamest to you? I think Water Bending is the lamest. I mean you can't even bend anywhere you want. Its most dependent element. Also there nothing you can really do with it...all you can pretty much do is heal

you can cut through metal and freeze people and also control people with the water inside of them (yes, waterbender's can control people. it says so on the Nick.com avatar site) but, as for the lamest bending style...i don't know. i like them all

Need I remind you that waterbenders can lash out with water like a whip and manipulate ice??? Some waterbenders can even manipulate the water and plants and it's unknown if they can do the same with humans.?? But I agree with you in that waterbending is the most dependent style.?? Otherwise, Katara wouldn't have to carry a pouch of water around.

It depends what you mean by lame,?? like lame as in - crippled or physically disabled, esp. in the foot or leg so as to limp or walk with difficulty. Or lame as in like the slang therm - uncool. Because to me they are all equally cool and none of them are crippled or physically disabled as an element.

I don't think it depends on the element. It's the bender, right?

Actually, earth is pretty dependent too. Maybe not as dependent, but the fire nation is able to completly manipulate the earthbenders, but noone can live without water.

Roight. None of the disciplines have no inherent advantages or disadvantages against the others. The show has repeatedly illustrated that it's the skill and prowess of the user that determines whether they win or not. Also its been said that experienced waterbenders can use the water in the air. Guess Katara's just not there yet (in the show anyway).

Seriously???There is a lot more in the air than most people realize and water is the most dominant. Though some areas have more moisture than others. Either way lets not forget about the fluid animation of this show. I can certainly see someone making hand movements, water vapor start to appear, becomes more gaseous, then turn to liquid. It'll be interesting to see it in action, besides on the game.

how many times do i have to say it? waterbenders CAN manipulate the bodies of humans with the water inside of them. It even SAYS SO on the Nick.com avatar site.

each bending style has its own strengths and weaknesses to say one is weaker is stupid and biased it depends on the benders and situations

    Two things.
    1) I took basic chemistry when I was 12/13.
    2) I was being sarcastic. That's something you should just know.

whell if by lame you mean not as flashy or stialish then personaly I think the lamest of the four is firebending,??I am saying that becuse the basic move is extending an arm an a single fireball is shot, now i know there are more advance moves but thet is basicly that they do. that my point of veiw anyway.
