I actually think that Jet is going to live just because it is still technically a childrens show, but he won't be able to continue. So in essence he'll be dead by being useless, but he won't actually literally be dead, just seriously injured.

    Way to be an optimist.

??But I'd actually like for jet to live. As much as I hated him in the eps before, he...really...*this is so hard*...can...be...good... It was a good thing they brainwashed him or he couldnt help them cause he was too messed up. Oh, and toph is now my favorite character...next to momo.

I've actually liked Jet since we first saw him, but I sort of have mixed feelings as to whether or not I want him to die. I think if he died it would really have a big impact and would add a lot to this show. But if he dies that means no more dual hook swords.

Or maybe they'll never show him in the future episodes, and we're meant to understand that he's dead?Good ...coz that means Aang's path to Katara is clear(yep,I'm Kataang).

Yeah, but that would suck because we'd be left hanging like the shows that suck! And this is clearly NOT a sucky show ..especially after last night! (i'm still hyper)

Finally, with help from Uncle Iroh, he's realizing who he truly is, which is much more like his mother. Will he now start trying to help the Avatar? Toph can tell when someone is lying! What a great ability! I see this coming up later when noticing Aang and Katara have feelings for each other. 'm still just so glad Appa is back!

That just gave me a prediction on Book 3: Fire, that maybe Zuko or Iroh will be Aang's firebending teacher. More likely Iroh since hes a master and Zuko isn't (maybe not yet).

I think that Zuko will team up with Aang on episode 20 of this season of Avatar, since the episode is names "The Crossroads of 2 Destinys" or something like that. And Iroh was talking to Zuko about Destiny a lot in this episode.

this episode was awesome, because not only was it the result of set-ups from previous episodes, the previous episodes were really good as well.

This was an awesome episode for sure, but...

...I'm not sure what will happen to Zuko now. The ending did show the end of the Blue Spirit, after all. He was giving up his thuggish alter-ego. I'm wondering if Zuko will simply live a peaceful life in Iroh's tea shop now. (Which should totally be called the Jasmine Dragon, 'cause that's a sweet name.)

But, I dunno. Zuko isn't really the settling down type.

This episode has raised two questions for me: Since Zuko's probably given up his drive to capture the Avatar, do you think he'll stop being so distant and maybe start seeing Jin more? And if Jet survives his injury, do you think he and his gang will end up fighting the Rough Rhinos? It's possible considering they've shown up in more episodes than a 'minor' character should.

Actually, Zuko took a blow like what Jet took in "Zuko Alone", when he was fighting the leader of the "sick coward" Earthbending soldiers. But then again, Zuko is stubborn and probably has a lot more endurance from what he has been through, while Jet took a blow from Long Feng who is an Earthbending master (not confirmed but most likely he is).

I don't remember that moment where Zuko was struck by a similar attack, but...the pillar that struck Jet looked really dense and hard. Just saying.

The ground was flat. Long Feng earthbent the floor to make a pillar hit jet, same with Zuko in "Zuko Alone"

Eh? I knew the ground was flat...

But I don't recall the look of the pillar thing that hit Zuko, so I guess I can't really tell which attack was stronger.

Great Episode, however I think that Appa should have been brought out a diffrent way, like with zuko or something.

Well, the Earthbender in "Zuko Alone" smashed the ground and Zuko was hit with a Sharp Pillar coming out of the ground. Zuko was knocked out for a while and he got back up after another flashback and he looked okay.
