I thought it was quite superb. I like the Dai Li vs Toph fight scenes and the appa kicking but scenes. However my most favorite was the Iroh yelling at Zuko, its about time. I just feel sry about Jet. I was wondering does anyone know if hes gonna die or whats gonna happen to him

I thought is was a 9.9. im soo glad aang finally got appa back. i really liked this episode and i loved the plot. a bunch of action, and abunch of weird brain washing stuff. i liked how jet switched sides so many times, as it helped the plot. the end.

It was by far the greatest avatar episode yet. Even better than the blue spirit and The siege of the nort parts one and two. It was so awesome I can barely describe it. The whole brainwashing thing, and the joo-dee people, and the underwater base...

    5 stars!!

Earthbending at it's finest...almost brought a tear to my eye, when I saw the Dai Li clinging to vertical and upside down surfaces

Iroh's new voice actor was different from Mako in his first appearence in the episode, but then when he got more into it, his voice was almost insync (spelling?) with Mako himself. 1 comment about Zuko is that his hair just keeps getting longer and longer each time he appears.

that probably because it still is mako, they said they have him recorded for all of season 2, they just need the replacement now and then for new scene not recorded for. We be hearing the new voice all the time for season 3.

Also, I predict that Zuko will be completely changed in the future episodes after what Iroh told him. If Iroh never told him, I think Zuko would be like his angry self for the rest of his life: feeling pain all day and regretful.

Lake Laogai was an EXCELLENT episode.

    SPOILERS

Great comedic moments with Sokka and Toph (more Toph), finally Jet returns from his brainwashing session, more Mako-Iroh greatness and Zuko finally gets something that's been long overdue. The capper is the awesome battle between the Aang Gang (and the Freedom Fighters) versus the Dai Li- though it was more Toph, Jet and Longshot, with a bit of Aang. The silent Dai Li, who cling and run across the walls, are creepy-cool adversaries and I am glad this won't be the last we see of them- payback's next episode. The episode though ends bittersweet, with possible ends for not one but two characters- Jet and the Blue Spirit. In the end, Aang gets Appa back and that in itself makes this a landmark ep. This is why I watch this series!

Best...episode... ever!!!! (Even better than COTL) The Joo-Dee thing was really creepy. I hate Long Feng and the Dai Lee so much for what they did to poor Jet!!! APPA'S BACK!!!! The earthbending with Toph and the Dai Lee was also special. Iroh talking to Zuko gave me chills and alas, farewell Blue Spirit.
    YAY AVATAR!!!!

How incredible and wonderful! That Zuko would actually free Appa! Zuko's been moving slowly toward his true self, but that self was alway overshadowed by his father. Finally, with help from Uncle Iroh, he's realizing who he truly is, which is much more like his mother. Will he now start trying to help the Avatar? Toph can tell when someone is lying! What a great ability! I see this coming up later when noticing Aang and Katara have feelings for each other. 'm still just so glad Appa is back!

That just gave me a prediction on Book 3: Fire, that maybe Zuko or Iroh will be Aang's firebending teacher. More likely Iroh since hes a master and Zuko isn't (maybe not yet).
