i found out that in ''Appa's Lost Days'' Appa flies over a few Watertribe warships... this is right after he flees from the attack of Azula. One guy sees him and keeps watching him. considering that this guy got a special close-up, he might be more then ''just a water tribe peasant''. he might actually be the father of Sokka and Katara...

ofcourse this is just a guess, but its fun talking about it right? no one??just gets a close-up in the avatar show, so it might be true. i though about Bato, but after i compared the 2 i saw that its not him... if it IS the father itll mean that he's pretty close to BSS which is the place where Aang and his friends are right now.

What do you guys think about it?

when did that part happen? r u sure u're not thinking of when he flew over the ferrie & Iroh saw him?

bonus- random thought about s/k's father. wouldn't it be weird if he was going out w/ Ursa? (for the sake of the argument lets assume she's alive)

its more then likely that he's alive. not only would it be best for the story, but they also got the message that he was alive and where he was in ''Bato??of the Water Tribe''. like i said, it happened right AFTER they got attacked by Azula and her girly friends, not before...

Because he's the only person of any relevance to the story at this time. Why show a random watertribe man when there are only seconds as it is to show Hakoda?

u guys make me confused... its really easy to understand, there are 2 ships (at least 2) going in the direction of the Western Air Temple (im not saying they are actually going to that exact spot). on one of those ships theres the father of Sokka and Katara... thats not surprising, cause he said he left to fight in the war which he is doing at the moment. they still have their own ships from the water tribe, and this Bato could be with them, or maybe he isnt (depends if he has already catched up with them).

btw. Airawende, i said that the writers HAVENT made a big misstake in their story till now... please read

Are you implying I didn't read it? You said "they r really doing a greta job till now". I don't know what that means to you, but most people interpret that as "They were doing well, but then they messed up".?? Please have better diction

''they r really doing a greta job till now'' means that they are doing a great job till this point... i dunnoo what'll happen next episode(s). thats why i say that they did a great job ''till now''. i understand that u might get confused when i say something like that, but i would expect u to know what i mean when i start my post with: ''dang! till now the writers havent made any story-misstakes'' and when i end it with: ''lets hope they will keep it this way.''

    maybe its just me though

Maybe it's me, but I expect that when someone starts a post with "dang!" they're dissappointed with something. It's not normally a happy exclaimation??
