Well I just hope that we can enjoy it from where it to where it ends we want to see how Aang accomplishes his duties and once he does he has to help the world find peace andbe in harmony once more without the other nations holding the grudge against the FN.

i am kind of sad that avatar is only 3 seasons but what would season 4 be about? aang searching for??surviving air nomads for 20 episodes??? most of these episodes would be fillers then, and it ruin the credibility of avatar. but if the creators somehow manage to create a new topic for season 4 then that would be great. but cartoons like spongebob fairy oddparents have no endings. they have no purpose to accomplish. so be happy that aang has something to accomplish, killing the firelord before summer ends.

Well I'm thinking the real problem is the comet Aang's mission is to stop Ozai from using it.

How is he going to do that other then by killing him? You don't thing he could bend the comet away from earth, do you? I think that would be really stupid if thats how it ended.

    hakeemadams94,

what new season?, the one in japan? 'cause you can watch all 180+ ( I lost count) episodes by download. And if you watch just every 5th episode you would not miss much. The point is if avatar ever got that lame someone would need to put it out of it's misery.

Everyone keeps saying that Aang is going to kill Ozai but what kind of message is that? How would that make him any better than the FN? I say Ozai is going to survive the series finale because if he is killed by the "good" guys then that would make them him.

Nowhere in there does it say the series will definitely end after 60 episodes.

In fact my source says there's lots of possibilities for the show to go beyond 3 seasons, but not even the show staff know how long the show will last.

THANK YOU POOLDUDE for that tidbit!

Also, Avatar isn't going to end just becuase animes end . . .?? but it's just as well, because, man, there aren't words for how much I hate anime.

Well if you missed something so did I. I saw no new info in there that hasn't already been stated by other sources (CableTVTalk, Variety, etc.). Aang will end his first adventure, not his only or final adventure. If Avatar goes, all that's good with cartoons goes with it.

That's a little bleak don't you think? There have always been great shows and when the leave it may take some time but a quality show will come to take it's place.

Look at Batman: The Animated Series. That is probably the greatest animated series ever made. But the world didn't stop when it did. It took time but things have moved on without it.

But if it does come back for another season mark my words and you can all quote me on this.

It will be less than what it used to be in every aspect. The animation quality will be less. The story line will be less.

I say to Nick let the show end when it's meant to end and leave it.

Brian's got my back on this.

Have we seen American Dragon's new seasons? Have you seen the animation? I don't want Avatar to end up like that and if Nick tells them to make a new season it will be shooty.

That would be HORRIBLE if Avatar ends up like that.

The animation was horrible but the plots were exellent and Huntsgirl was ten times more cool.

Great shows have a finite life span, they end and then it's on to another great idea and great show. Imagine if Cowboy Bebop did not end like it did at 26 episodes? Imagine if they made a season 3 for Vandread: it would just be a bunch of boys and girl having sex. My point is when you have a whole show based on a single arch-plot when that plot climaxes and resolves then the show is over! You can???t switch to something new the show would not be like it was before.
