Great shows have a finite life span, they end and then it's on to another great idea and great show. Imagine if Cowboy Bebop did not end like it did at 26 episodes? Imagine if they made a season 3 for Vandread: it would just be a bunch of boys and girl having sex. My point is when you have a whole show based on a single arch-plot when that plot climaxes and resolves then the show is over! You can???t switch to something new the show would not be like it was before.

Thank You. Finally some voices of reason....You too Brian

Brian's got my back on this.

Have we seen American Dragon's new seasons? Have you seen the animation? I don't want Avatar to end up like that and if Nick tells them to make a new season it will be shooty.

Eh, I really wouldn't put American Dragon into the equation. I mean its only on its like 2nd season and it was sucky 2 begin with (sorry Basco it just is) even b4 the animation changed. The show itself is completely opposite to Avatar's continuity??based storyline.??Heck, ??Dante himself said it was like a sitcom.?? But I do agree with what u said about Avatar not being the last decent cartoon. I mean c'mon now, it may take awhile but there are probably plenty of good shows on the way... and not just anime. There are even plenty of good cartoons out now. I myself am waitin 4 Boondocks 2 come back... which just happens 2 use anime-ish animation but... well u know.

AD:JL is okay but to get back on topic what is the point of a show if it finishes it's concept it souldn't keep on going cause of fandom or popularity regaurdless.

This is bittersweet. While I love Avatar I want it to die with dignity, not become Nick's new whore.

Brian, this is the network that cancelled Danny Phantom when it was just getting GOOD.

We COULD just do what the Gargoyle fans did. Not acknowledge the crappy Avatar seasons as canon. The Goliath Chronicles is hardly considered an official third season to the original storyline.

I would rather Avatar die with dignity, than live with shame.

Spongebob was excellent other than the latest eps, and now the humor is almost abused.

Danny Phantom was a great show, and it was open ended when it died out.

FOP was amazing, other than the??new eps. Did like the movies, though.

JN had a balance of good and bad, even with future eps.

    Now, onto Naruto.

I agree, while the filler episodes maybe annoying, they still are essential. If ANY show were pure plotline eps, it'd be a clump, not a show.

Naruto is an amazing show, great style, and has a great deal of action, and comedy. I'm still waiting for Sasuke to be found, if that will happen. EVER.
