60 episodes isn't bad though. Cowboy Bebop only had 26 and it was named one of the top animes of all time. FullMetal Alchemist only had about what 45 episodes and a movie. Samurai Champloo had 26. And they are all good animes.

Don't worry people, just cause Avatar will only have 60 episodes, which is a good number for a show, doesn't mean Avatar will fail or won't be good. And Nick wants another season. So maybe there will be another season of Avatar, but it won't follow the plotline if it does happen since Aang will fight the Fire Lord at the end of Season 3 or something along those lines.

This isn't bad news at all. I love Avatar and I want it to go out on the top of it's game and not have to force an unplanned season out that will only??diminish it's quality. Remember the truly great shows are the ones that are on top and then end the show and never look back.

Well Naruto is a ???never ending saga??? anime, filler episodes is just one of their many common problems.

Well, maybe the creators will make another anime show....but nothing could be better than Avatar, I will miss it Think of it though...Half of the whole entire show is over already. sadness! But still thats about 30 brand new episodes of Kataanokka ..lol just made that up.. ACTION

Most anime/anime style shows are short. Fullmetal Alchemist is only 53 episodes, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go is only 63 (if we can change Disney's mind about not buying the final season. Otherwise it's 52.)
The great thing about being a shorter series is it's going to finish. Lots of TV shows don't make it to the end. (like I said about SRMTHG.)
I can't wait till that movie either, bit first, I need to catch up! ^^' I have gotten behind on my avatar watching duties!
