Well I don't know if anyone has thought of this, and i am way to lazy to read through 30 pages of conversation spanning over multiple topics, but I will bet that they have just started writing the boiling rock. I don't know if anyone has pointed out the fact that the writers were probably in california striking the last few months, and that the episodes that did air were completed before the strike. This being the case nick may choose not to air the new avatar episodes becuase of the poor ratings this term (how ever long they count ratings before they reset), with the show 24 fox isnt going to air them untill next year becuase of the bad ratings so far this year. but i could be wrong, but i will bet that the new episodes just started being writen this last wednesday...

No, no, no.

All Avatar episodes were finished back before season 3 even premiered. It takes like 9 months to make an episode. So the scripts were finished way long ago. They're only taking a hiatus, every show does it.

Well they must have really fallen behind because as it stands right now the finale, aka episodes 318-321, are not finished. Up through 317 are done, but not any of the finale episodes. In the last month or so they just finished 314-317. So no, all the episodes actually were not finished before the season started.

i didn't know that. well this must be why they're on hiatus, so that when they do return they can air 312-321 through 6 weeks.
