JET'S A FIREBENDER!! (Speculation, possible spoilers)

    iroh has one uncle. iroh. and one cousin. lu ten. cousin sin't possible, either. maybe something else, but i still don't think there is enough evidence to even think that jet was firebending. *shrugs*

    I wasn't thinking in that respect. I was thinking maybe a banished sister or brother of Ursa's. However, it would be perfectly plausible of Lu Ten, or whatever Iroh's son's name was. He was older than Zuko and it's perfectly likely that he fathered a child during that 1 and 1/2 year seige.

    oh come on! who in the world is going to hook up with one of the firebenders trying to kill her and her family? how would they even meet? there's that whole outer wall thing, and then some space, and then the inner wall. if my city was under seige by people who wanted to kill me, i'm not about to go hanging around the outside wall. and even if i was, i'm still not about to aproach a fire nation leuitenant!

    hmm.... banished sister or brother os ursa.... that brings up some interesting possibilities. none that have to do with this topic, but it would be cool if zuko ran into someone who knew his mother when she was young.

    Thanks for backing me up. I do find it kind of hard for Jet and Zuko to be brothers. Half-brothers maybe, or cousins or something. I find it complete plausible for Jet to be a firebender. It would change things for him drastically.

    Not necesarily. As i said, it could be a dormant ability. Or he could be in such denile, he never saw the signs for what they were.

    The sparks were just a visual effect that accompanies the clash of metal. It's been done a million times in animation!

    So, the most logical conclusion isn't that it was a cool visual effect but that Jet is a Fire Bender? That's not speculation, that's ridiculous. Completely off the wall, discontinuity, makes no sense, no supportive evidence, no way it's possible, no reason to defend when the event can be explained in another way! This is what accepting Zutara as plausible leads to. What's next? Don't answer that!

    Dude Jet is not a firebender and his parents wheren't firebenders. His parents were both killed by firenation soldiers when he was eight. Which means Jet knew both of his parents and would have known if they could firebend.

    This theory is silly and people shouldn't examine every minuscule detail.

    *shrugs* The chances of this theory being true is around 5%...cuz it all depends on if Jet's parents were adoptive parents and somet other things...but meh...why not talk it up?
