Since most of us are simply waiting here for the rest of the series to air, we should do something constructive!

How about this: There are two major shippings of Avatar: Kataang, and Zutara. Each account for roughly (dont flame me to death) half of the fandom. What happens when the finale airs? One of them will be picked to be canon. (BUT WHAT ABOUT ... SHH!) That means, that roughly (again, no flames needed) a whole half of the fandom will be dissatisfied. How can we solve this problem?

My proposition: We should make a big list of fans, who agree that although one ship is canon, there should be an alternate ending, to please almost (i say almost because of the other random shippings) all (or a big chunk) of the fans. I think its a good idea. Who's with me? Unlike other series creators, I think that Bryke will listen to us if we get enough fans to agree that there should be some way to please most of us.

Just think, isn't it better to finish this great series with two great endings that satisfy most of the fans that have spent such a long time watching it? Even if you are a rabid kataang fan or a crazy zutara fan, just respect the other side and make it so that both of you are happy in the end? Whadaya say? Peace?

Are you serious? Are you asking us to get Bryke to make an alternate ending?

People asked them to do the same thing after CoD after Zuko made his decision. There's a lot that goes into the process; storyboarding, writing, animating, voice recording, touch-ups. I'm not sure the order, and there is stuff in between. And like KingAtticus said, it costs a lot of money.

Look.. Whatever ship happens, happens. It's not the end of the word. I know the opposite shippers will wank but they'll get over it. Hopefully. Bryke decided on whatever ship, and there's no way around that. Except maybe fanon wise.

I doubt that the creators would do that.

Then again, they did it for Evangelion... Maybe this could work.
