    On a reason topic someone told me that each nation had their own eye colour

    But when i saw a photo of jet he had brown eyes like an Air Nomad

    I may be wrong, don't kill me, but I think Earth Kingdom people can have green OR brown eyes, since they are both Earth Kingdom colors. Becuase I just watched Zuko Alone, and I don't think Lee or his family had green eyes, I think brown, but I can't completely remember.

    All Air Nomads are Airbenders and I really don't think Jet is an Airbender...

    No, poeple have diffrent eye colors. It happens. There are some eye colors that are more promenant among certian types of people, but that doesn't mean everybody has them.

    They're not born with them. The blue arrows are tattooed on their bodies when they master Airbending.

    Aang has gray eyes, I am 100% sure about that, but I dont know about every nation having their own eye color, that would be kinda weird.??

    As far as I can tell...
    Water = Blue eyes
    Air = Grey eyes
    Earth = Green eyes (or brownish green)
    Fire = Honey colored eyes

    I noticed Ty Lee has grey eyes too. She may be a descendant of the Air Nomads. Not just because of her eye color, but she is not a fire bender, she is so very nimble and light on her feet. Also, we have never seen her parents or any other family members.

    Has anyone else noticed any exceptions to the eye color rule?

    don't remember his eye color, but what about the guy on Zuko's ship, the one that challenged him durring the Storm?

    The screenshots are not 100% clear, but I they are in the brown to golden brown range.

    Jet could be an air nomad. His parents were killed weren't they? Maybe he escaped. Besides, just because someone resides in a nation doesn't make them a bender.

    Eye color doesn't really matter that much in this show. Heck, if it was as cut and dry as that Zuko and Iroh would have never made it inside Ba Sing Se.

    Everyones eye color is based in genetics. Brown eyes being dominate over blue eyes, and green being a mutation. I figure the same applies in the Avatar World. The reason why different nations have different eye colors could be because people in the Avatar tend to not breed with other nations.
