Yeah, being confused about emotions at the age of 14 makes you a total *****.

I understood Katara's actions totally. But Zuko was the one who made me super mad. I was just like "STFU AND STOP ENCOURAGING HER!" Aang should be his shifu.
I know huh. Seems like Zuko hasn't turned entirely to the light side yet. XP Or he could just be practicing his annoying trait of ignoring wisdom. He's only done that to Iroh about 50 million times.

While that is definitely true (lol) I'm gonna defend Zuko on this. The guy did lose his mother too and the whole time Aang was spouting words of "wisdom" I was thinking the same thing Zuko eventually said: Violence isn't the answer right Aang? So what exactly are you gonna do in the next episode? Talk the Fire Lord into submission?

AndI have to totally agree with those who say it was the comment to Sokka that pushed them away from Katara. It was totally out of line, completely uncalled for and she never even apologized to him for saying it. That to me was the very second I started hating her.

Katara's come across as a b**** more times than I can count in the series. I knew she wouldn't go through with getting back at the guy, its just like her to do that.

I was just disappointed that they picked a lame "forgiveness" theme for the episode. I agreed with Zuko "its like doing nothing."

In the physical world, sure, nothing happens when someone forgives someone. But niether of us really have no idea what it takes to forgive the man that killed your family. On another note, yah forgiveness is a cliche theme for an episode, but what do you want the theme to be for a kids cartoon? Killing those that grievously wronged you makes things as right as the circumstances dictate? For one thing, that just simply isnt true, and it certainly wont show up in a kids' cartoon.

Well duh I knew they wouldn't give a compeltely honest overtone to the episode since it was a kid's show. I had hoped they'd avoid the issue alltogether.
