Actually, if you remember, Iroh was only able to see the dragon "Feng" in the spirit world during the winter solstice because he met the Master Ran and Cha, who showed him true firebending. It was that spiritual connection to firebending and the dragons themselves that enabled him to see Feng.

Soo...Are you saying there's a tea guru in the spirit world? Sounds awesome.

Great pics; I laughed so hard I fell out of my chair

Pretty much every single main charcter in Avatar from Aang to Ozai, From Katara to Azula, can be found enjoying a nice cup of tea at some point. Everyone drinks it, everyone loves it. Tea is the chocolate of the Avatar world. Iroh just happens to be particularly passionate about it, and has allowed his passion to guide him.

Exactly, which is why I am going to keep this thread alive.

Well, What's your favorite tea? or, more specifically, what was the flavor of the last cup of tea you had?

My tea is jasmine Dragon phoenix pearl tea, one of the tastiest and overwhelmingly delightful teas of the trade. ^_^

Favorite flavour of tea? I'm not particularly sure that I have one. Something to add to my avatar schedule; develope a taste for tea

Anyway, the last time I drank tea, it was a Japanese rose flavoured tea. very tasty, I might add.

I think he always had it in him. I don't think his tea making skills has a connection with him becoming good or learning firebending from the dragons. He might have made tea to relax during the 600 day siege of Ba Sing Se.

Interesting how many people keep saying Iroh has this natural talent to make tea...Like he uses magic to make tea or something.
Like i've said before, I would hate for that to be the reason why Iroh is great at making tea. It also sounds like a shallow explanation.

I mentioned the dragons not on the subject of tea man, but to explain to somebody why Iroh could see dragons in the first place.

So by you saying this, this poster is true? when he makes a tea out of the white jade plant? He messes up.

Again, i post this to show you why i don't think Iroh is naturally talented.

    It's magical! ahahaha

Why people think Iroh is talented...
