    Well, yeah, but it chronicled a family friendly archetypal hero's journey. The one episode where there was TEEN ORIENTED stuff (The Beach) was funny at best, and overly melodramatic and hackneyed at worst. I think the show being more friendly to the whole family gives it a broader audience.
    Hey im just curious does any1 know how many viewers Avatar got on its finale?

    19 million, passed the inferious High School Musical.
    It semmed like an accomplishment. But, I really don't like perfection.

    The week got 19 million altogether. The finale itself got 5.x million
    And nothing is perfect. If M*A*S*H isnt perfect, then Avatar certainly isnt. IT HASNT EARNED WHAT M*A*S*H'S EARNED.

    The 's was just me abbreviating has. M*A*S*H is the greatest show of all time, a show about a surgical unit in the Korean war. It gets a bit heavy on the drama of the war in later seasons, but it's still RLY GUD.

    don't worry the finale had it's flaws like never finding out where Ursa was and the version of maikoh I was behind didn't happen

    i think it was like 6.7 million viewers in the US which made Avatar the most watched animated series in the history of US television! i read it in an article somewhere

    I'll stand by my 9. Avatar is a very good show that I like a lot, that's why I rated it a 9. One problem I have with it, though, is the juvenile aspects of this show. You know, the cheesy jokes for the 8 and under crowd. Now most of you will say 'hey, this is a kid's show, what'd you expect'? I know it's a kids show. But that's one of the flaws IMO.

    9.1

    flaws- they overuse the word "destiny"

    it's very childish, some very corny episodes. other than that the show has a lot of great qualities. And once mako died, Iroh died.

    what jokes? I thought all the jokes were pretty funny. My fave was when they made everyone go down to the bottom of the balloon and the one guy was like "I can't believe the captain remembered my birthday!" XD

    Second, I can understand your contempt for Greg Baldwin succeding Mako but he had like 20 lines at most. As well, he wasnt bad.

    He was pretty good for a replacement. I wouldn't have noticed the first half of the season if I hadn't known.
