    Wouldn't it be wierd if Sokka was born into the Air Nomads? He would HAVE to be a bender, even if he does refuse it. I just can't imagine anyone from the Air Nomads who doesn't have spirit.

    Ok all Airbenders are Airnomads, but not necessarily all Airnomads are able to bend, if they don't have a master or the means to learn.

    If the creators say they can't learn, then they can't learn. If the creators say they can learn, then they can learn.
    Whatever the creators say, that's what happens. End of story.

    Seriously I cannot believe that weak post at the beginning has spurned all of this. Okay, so all airnomads automatically have the ability to airbend a hundred years ago. That doesn't mean that race mixing and genetic traits couldn't have changed during that time does it?

    It's what the creators themselves have said. And, while we're going solely by what the creators have said, there are no more Airbenders besides Aang.

    Yes, who cares about the creators here? I mean seriously, we are THE FANS! We keep the creators in business! They owe us as much as we owe them!

    Anyways, the creators may be in charge of everything, but one of the points of this site is to speculate and fantasize! Airbenders might be still be up the creator's sleeves somewhere!

    lol... What if there was subliminal messaging in the Avatar shows and it started to tell people to jump off of cliffs!
