No matter what, i doubt that Bryke would kill Aang in the end, he is the last airbender, he is an avatar and therefor, he can't die on Sozin's Comet, the world woud be unbalanced, here are a few scenarios:

New WT Avatar: *is told that he is the avatar* really?! OMG, so i can learn earth and fire and air too?!
Wise man: kinda...
WTA: what do you mean?
WM: there are no airbenders, and the scrolls are dust, and lastly, the airbending animals are extinct, so you can't learn air
WTA: so what will happen?
WM: i have no idea, but without learning the free-ness of air, you can't become a full avatar, thus i supose you won't have the Avatar State, making you a powerfull bender, but not THE most powerful bender
WTA: well, that sucks
WM: yeah, hehe, you're screwed boy.

OR

Fire Nation Guy: hey, the avatar died
Other Fire Nation Guy: yeah
FNG: how about we make civil war and take over the world?

Last scene Aang calls Zuko and says: "Put the phone on your butt it's a booty call..." cut hours later to Zuko's bedroom from an external view to block what's going on inside...then, glowing windows and flashes of light followed by screaming...credits

Yeah. Nickelodeon edited and censored parts of 'The Puppetmaster' apparently because it was too scary for the Y-7 audience. Given that I think it's likely that the Avatar ending will fall into the 'G' rating scope.

Do you know how many of us would be ever so enthralled to have the deleted scenes as a bonus DVD on the S3 compilation? But Nick would have to *think* about what we would enjoy in order to come through with stuff like that.

1. OMG Nickelodeon do not, repeat do not acknowledge or treat Mike and Bryan like the animation genuises that they are!

2. OMG Nickelodeon do not, repeat do not acknowledge Avatar's numerous and distinguished awards in the field of animation.

3. OMG Nickelodeon do not, repeat do not acknowledge the diehard Avatar fanbase which is chiefly compromised of COLLEGE STUDENTS and ADULTS who would be more than happy to purchase a plethora of Avatar merchandise, spinoff series DVDs as well as any multitude of items which would feed our craving for all things Avatar. Think Star Trek and Star Wars fans, then you will catch a glimmer of who we really are.

Yeah this list could go on and on infinity plus one but I have a weekend to enjoy. LOL
