Sozin's Comet hits the planet and wipes out all life. Even microbes.
On a related note, I sense some bitterness in the Avatar fan community. Maybe it's just me.

Everybody dies execpt Momo. Then He celebrates by drinking Beer 24/7. Then He dies. Then All of us cry at his funeral...then we laugh...then we cry cause avatar is over..Then Some of you go home...end up being a hobo. Then Mike and Bry Deicide to awaken aang but he does no respond.....SO...*take a deep breath* Mike becomes aang because he starts growing glowing arrows on his body...then Bryan grows long brown hair and begins to realize that he can bend water . Then some random guy who works at BK starts telling lame jokes and realizes his pen became a boomerang . Then some 5 year old girl gets poked in the eye and becomes blind....then a mailman comes to her and she kicks him in the knee and starts picking her nose .
AND THAT IS HOW AVATAR ENDS/STARTS!

If there would be a season 4 i think maybe season 3 in the end the firelord would die and Azula wil escape somehow and comes back in season 4 to get revenge for his father

For me the best ending is however Bryke ends it, it is their creation and I trust them to end it on a truly epic note, so need for speculation or wishful thinking on my part.
