ozai has to be considerably powerful, atleast the most powerful firebender in the FN, because otherwise azula or iroh would've taken him down a while back, although the full extent of his powers remain a mystery because we have only seen him generate lightning quickly, which doesnt really tell us much

He would probably beat Avatar State Aang otherwise Avatar Roku wouldnt have told aang that once the comet arrives and ozai harnesses its power not even the avatar will be able to stop him
