Nickelodeon (ended 2008)
I am the only on that hopes it stays with it's 3 originally planned seasons. All the possibilities for 3+ season look awful to me.
1. Avatar could extend the final showdown with the firelord/comet for another season. Great I have to wait longer to see the end. Avatar could also achieve some of its goals at the season 3 finally but not all of them, allowing for future seasons. What an anti-climatic ending.
2. Avatar could continue after defeating the firelord/firenation/comet. How many movies were made about post-WW2 clean up and reconstruction, how exciting were they compared WW2 movies? Avatar could continue years ahead with many of the characters all grown up. Rugrat did it and I was not pleased.
3. Avatar could make a new story about a future or past avatar with no other relation with the pervious seasons other then taking place in the same universe.
That basically categorizes all the proposed future seasons ideas. My objection to them is purely personal. If you want to see one or more of those things happen go right ahead as long as they don???t do number 1, I will stop watching.

ur right about the air nomads race tico... i havent thought about it till now. this means that there have to be a few air benders left (i cant believe that none of them got away), or Aang has to teach a bunch of people how to airbend, which is almost (if not totally) impossible. i think there will be given 1 or more chapters to this ''air benders search'' in book 3.
i dont care how long it'll take before ill see the fight between Aang and the fire lord, i just love watching the episodes... id love to see more then 3??seasons. i do love the Azula as a firelord part. (one thing, does anyone know how incredible strong Azula will become when the comet will arrive? :S)
