I'd say leave it at 3 seasons.

But make some nick could make some seriously good movies from the show. And not the "movies" that are two combined episodes.

Just as long as they stay true to the artwork, and not go crazy like in the other Nick movies...

I think the producers said something about either doing a show that still has to do with Avatar, but not the original Aang story line, or doing a non-avatar related show but with the same type of artwork, and very deep, uh, topics??I guess. So basically as good as Avatar, but not Avatar, I'd check into it if it happened, but that's just me.

Like all the sane people here, I'd hate to see Avatar end. But if the creators only planned on 3 books, chances are, there'll only be 3 books. But ya never know. Dreams do come true. But if some other team picks up Avatar or if there's a spin-off (PLEASE NO!!!) Then, I can't believe I'm typing this, but Avatar should be...... CANCELLED! There, I typed it. Now I feel horrible. WWWAAAHHH!!! jk

I think there should be four season of Avatar. In these first two seasons it takes Aang the entire season to learn and master the element for that particular book. So, book three should be fire and book four should be him mastering all four elements together and of course the final battle with the fire nation. I don't think book three should be him learning fire bending and fighting ozai. the fight with ozai it self will take up at least a few chapters. I mean the season final of book one took two episodes and that was a fight against a small portion of the fire nation army. I think four seasons is reasonable and anything more that that would just ruin a really good show. However, to avoid stretching the show too much, i think season four should be shorter. maybe half the chapters. first half to travel to the fire nation and master all four elements and then the last half in fighting the war. just my thoughts. what do you guys think?

Unless everything breaks correctly, I would be the first one to sign up for a "end Avatar after 3 seasons" petition.

There is a ton of foreshadowing in Avatar. A TON. Going against that foreshadowing would look and feel horrible.

Trying to find a write around of Sozin's Comet, the eclipse and the final confrontation with the Fire Nation and doing it well is pretty much impossible. Nick and the creators should just play this straight up. 3 seasons and end it. I'd much rather have a tight, good ending than a dragged on show/series that needs to die, like so many of them are.

If there is any doubt at all that Avatar should be cancelled after 3 seasons, they should cancel it.

My guess is between 3-4. Apparently 3 books were planned, it would only make sense to stop at 3, but am I the only one who thinks that seems rushed? I mean, it would take a while for Aang to master all the elements. Is a season enought time for him to do that while still getting into plot-furthering sidequests? That said, would there be enough material to do this and for the show to keep its interest?
