    So your sayin that A 50-59 year old man could follow after a running teenager for miles. Cause Lake Laogi is definently not in Ba Sing Se

    Even though he's older Iroh is alot more powerful and intelligent than Zuko

    he could have easily snuck behind Zuko... plus once he got to Lake Laogai , the Dai Li were pretty focussed on Aang

    I would question less about how Iroh followed Zuko to Lake Laogai, but how did Zuko find his way down there in the first place? This is where we as viewers are asked to suspend our belief in logic and go with the story.

    It is WhaleTail island was a false plot by the Dai Li to get Aang out of Ba Sing Se ake Loagai is in the Upper part of Ba Sing Se

    Zuko got there with the info. he got from that Dai Li he tricked/attacked.

    Grintoth is right, this is the stubidest question.

    It is obvious that Iroh followed him.
    So you question his ability to do so? That will be a better question.

    He is a highly train fire nation warrior. (possible still stronger than Zoko) He was the heir to throne of fire lord and was respected by his fater who hate weak firebender.
    If he is that strong, i doubt he cant follow someone for a short distance.

    Zuko ate bad food and had horrible gas that night. So Iroh followed the smell.

    no, iroh followed him.

    Iroh was able to track Zuko for weeks when they were seperated. Seriously, Zuko had an ostrich-horse, and Iroh was still only a few steps behind.

    I think he can follow Zuko to a nearby lake.

    Iroh has been able to track Zuko and keep tabs on his nephew quite well. He's a lot more clever and faster than he looks, and the old man has been around.
