    She probably did.

It seems to me the Dai Li and Long Feng are totally in control with the stuff they're in control with. Long Feng always had the master plan with Aang, and Aang could do nothing. But Iroh and Zuko seem to have met no one down there, and the Dai??Li were not prepared for Appa.

Zuko kidnapped a Dai Li officer threatning is life. The officer led him where appa was and iroh followed zuko the whole time. does that answer ur questions?

??Yeah, this has been bugging me...I??think Iroh saw how disturbed Zuko was after getting the notice about Appa and??guessed he was gonna do something stupid??..so he followed him(but how?!).Another thing that struck me was that he was'nt surprised at all to see that the Blue Spirit was his own nephew..did he know it all along???

Technically, Zuko and the Aang gang entered the facility in lake laogai at the same time or Zuko entered first. This is because Appa was clearly held deeper into the facility based on how long it took the gang to find the chamber. Obviously even though the Dai Li are earthbenders im sure there is another entrance into the facility they use in case someone is watching the lake since earthbending something under the lake would be rather obvious. My guess is Zuko entered through the other entrance just before the gang came in through the lake entrance and that is how Zuko went through the facility unnoticed because the gang was distracting the Dai Lee.

Well, I think he has known for a while. In "The Water Bending Mater" Zhao pretty much accused Zuko of being the Blue Spirit right in front of Iroh, but????Zuko said his dual swords were just antiques. Then in his fight with Jet he used dual swords right in front of Iroh, so if Iroh had not known before that, I'm sure he figured it out.

tv_worm, I definitely agree with you!

toph left it up, zuko got info from the captured dali, iroh followed him and zuko set appa free but a more interesting question would be, how did appa get out of the cave-tunnel-sewer thing

Wasn't there light coming down? Once he was free of the chains, he could just fly out.

first of all toph defianately left it up, the passage way toph and aang and the rest got in was the way zuko and iroh got out

2nd, zuko most likely got underground first..he probably made the kidnapped dai li warrior open up the passage way, and close it when they got down

better question... how did they get appa out of the underground catacombs? i know theres a shot of zuko slamming down his swords, then a pan to a 'skylight' of sorts, but...
    1. i doubt appa would fit through it.
    2. even if he could fit, there would have to be a tube jetting out of the lakes surface. 3.appa would absolutely not be able to sneak past the dai lee. hes like 2000 pounds and like, at least 16 feet long. and hes not exactly a ninja either.
IT ANGERS AND PERPLEXES ME!!!! great episode though.
