    "Empty Space"? As in Air?
    I don't mean that. It's "empty space" as in "nothing"-- nothing, that is, except probability.

    As I mentioned in this topic before, the mere fact that there have been so many so-called science showdowns is because the creators did a good job of finding behaviors plausible or relatable to life as we may know it. Just let the "science-fan" Avatar-fans {like me} have their harmless fantasies.

    Alright, someone has probably already said this, but I'm way to lazy to read all the posts.

    Before people knew a lot about science, the elements were divided into four major elements: Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. This was a popular belief at the time of alchemy (yes, it's a real thing, just a bit *coughalotcough* different from FMA). After alchemy evolved into chemistry, people began discovering more elements, and eventually these four categories were not thought of as correct. But, since Avatar is supposed to take place "long ago," this is how they are still divided. It doesn't matter if this is not correct in modern times, get it? Avatar obviously does not take place in the 21st century ^^

    Wowww that was annoying to type on a Saturday... sorry that I made you all learn ^^
