Uh oh, I'm in trouble. Must hide posts made in a "certain" thread. the "don't ask, don't tell."

LOL I think she's posted in that thread or at least she's read it.

Nightwing is the name Dick Grayson(first Robin)goes by now

It has also been used by Superman, Tad Ryserstad (also know as Nite-wing), Jason Todd (another Robin), Power Girl (Another realities Supergirld), and finally Cheyenne Freemont.

    by Superman

as a non-powered hero similar to Batman, with Jimmy Olsen as flamebird; than later by a "cousin" of him in the bottled city Kandor that is in the fortress of solitude, than again superman while lois lane became flamebird

Tad Ryserstad (also know as Nite-wing)

for a short while who fought Dick grayson in nightwing 65, as he became crazed, never heard of that till now

    Jason Todd (another Robin)

temporarily, and he was villanious as he was deranged by obssesion to kill the joker who was one who "originally killed jason" but later he was revived

    Power Girl (Another realities Supergirl),

she and supergil got inside kandor and became Nightwing and flamegirl

    and finally Cheyenne Freemont.

interesting, didn't hear of that one

I hear lot of things while web searching, but haven't read much comics in last 2 or 3 years

    LMAO.

Ironically, I found this out only after I picked my account name. Mine refers to the one true Robin: Dick Grayson. Plus my favorite color, haha.

I'm so glad I'm talking to you guys right now. You don't know how embarassed I was feeling for being such an obsessed fanatic. My friends were kinda freaking out by it, to be honest. I'm the only person they know who watches Avatar fanvideos and trailers and episodes over and over and OVER again (I blame YOU for the trailers and fanvideos, Raven!!!), and can recite all things Avatar at the top of my head, or find the smallest details in a simple one-second clip from the NYCC trailer...or takes the time to write FANFICTION on the dang series, or draw them nonstop... But yes...I screamed quite a lot with that trailer. My little brother thought I was going psychotic. And I'm still watching the trailer, have been throughout today, really. Obsessed is really an understatement.

You are definitely amongst friends. I play Raven's vids in the background on my computer when I'm online because they are sooooo good and filled with Avatary goodness. LOL

So even though I'm multi-tasking in other places, I will have it in a small screen so I can watch them over and over again.

Speaking of which, no pressure Raven but with the new video footage from the S3 Finale Trailer, do you think you will be inspired to make a new vid?

I wonder if Nick will put a high-quality version on TurboNick?

I know, I really want a high-def version of the trailer!! But, I'll probably end up waiting until I at least have Boiling Rock before I take a stab at something else. You have no idea how mad my mom was when I told her I made another trailer. She was like, "Didn't you just make a video?" Me: "Yeah, 3 weeks ago..." Mom: "You can't keep doing this, Raven..." Me: *in my head* Try and stop me beast!! I mean seriously, no respect. She just doesn't understand... sigh...

O.k. my mind does not compute what you just said. Has she SEEN your work? Omg. She should be like buying you special video and editing equipment and should be looking into exclusive art schools to hone your talents. Sorry I'm a Mom and if you were my daughter I would encourage you to make as many vids as you could stand. You have a sublime gift. That much is indisputable.

She used to passively support it. I gave her the money for Sony Vegas and said "I need this program." She ordered it for me, probably not knowing entirely what it was. She's seen some of my stuff, but I don't show them to her anymore because I know it just makes her uncomfortable, and leads to awkward comments when it's over. She's never seen the show and has blatantly refused to watch it, which is incredibly frustrating. Oh well, I have friends who like it, so it's all good. If I ever succeed in this kind of field she'll have Avatar entirely to thank for it.

That sounds a lot like my mom. She really doesn't care what I do when it comes to Art or any of this video stuff. I could work on something for weeks, then show it to her, and all she'll do is be like, "Oh. Wow," smile, then go back to doing her own thing. Frustrating, isn't it? Luckily, I have my dad. He supports me all the way and is willing to buy my things just to keep me motivated, and he's always thrilled by the things I like to do. (Well, he doesn't buy me everything. I had to buy Sony Vegas, and I gotta pay for half of the new computer I'm HOPING to get.)

Is your mom the only one being like that, Rav?

Well, no one in my family will watch it. I don't really connect with my stepdad and my dad thinks it's dumb. Friends are good though. It's just inexplicably traumatizing when we go to visit relatives or something and dad will say "Oh, you should see what Raven does all day..." *sarcasm*. UGH! I GET THAT IT'S A KID SHOW BUT IT ROCKS OK!?!?!?

ahahah i totally feel your pain raven ahaha my parents have banned me from making videos on school days...me: omg wtf?!?! it only takes like 2-3 hours and its time that im not watching tv....them: well you shouldnt watch tv or make videos!! go do your hw!! me: but..but...i already did it... Dad later: *whispers* lets go watch batman me: *perks up and follows*
^_^ i force my parents to watch all of my videos and i usually make them watch it when im stuck at some point..they really arent good at giving advice but it gives me time to think it out ahahaha
oh and on the relatives watching avatar note, my dad watches most of the shows that i watch cept for avatar...he's watched a few episodes with me and he gets the general story and everything but hes all like "i dont have time to obsess over another show!!" *shrug* and my mom ugh...i watch her eyes glass over when i talk about it whatever....ahaha oh and he let me install his adobe elements on my PC and i *cough*downloaded*cough* sony vegas so no making me pay for things here ^_^ ahahaha

But I do fully support anything Avatar. So if I walked in and my kids were doing nothing but eating Cheetos out of the bag, drinking soda and watching Avatar...I would probably grab a few Cheetos, sit down and ask what episode they were watching and not leave until the Avatar-pa-loozah was finished. I don't think my mom knows what Avatar is, but my dad does a little bit because someone he works with likes Avatar. However, when I showed my mom the signed Avatar poster, she said "Oh, we better frame it! We'll have to find a frame that fits."

My dad got kind of annoyed at me for buying an Avatar DVD. (It was only $15, sheesh, relax..) So, otherwise, I don't advertise my obsessive love for Avatar that much. Only to my brother, who think it's incredibly sad.

I can't say I'm really obsessive (mainly because I can't be, what with being stressed with college), but my mother did by the '07 magazine for me.

Well the first thing that came up is for a thread that died over a month ago, while everything after is more recent. What does it mean!?

Anyways, just to keep on this popular motherly subject, my mom seems to know very little of what I like. I try to be somewhat of a secret to my family. Though she does seem to neither love nor hate Avatar; she just sees it there. That's fine by me.

My dad, on the other hand, seems to like watching it when I watch it. Luckily, he's never seen "The Great Divide", but he's the sort of man who'd watch it just because it's there.

I did. Though in the episode, Sokka didn't care that much to see it either. It's hated by non-benders.
