I saw one of the episodes from the first season today and I was so shocked. It's such a good show! But if there is a new season, it will be all new characters.

I've given up my hopes and moved onto that . Yet, it still makes me wonder what they're going to do to solve the Airbending problem. If there is no Airbenders to teach the Avatar, then the current avatar would be unable to learn the 4 elements, and the avatar cycle would stop once it reaches the next Airbender in line. Unless they just do the simple solution and say that the cycle simply "skips" over certain nations if it's no longer present .

I think they would either have Aang repopulate ;] or use a past Avatar instead.

Or Maybe Appa could give the Avatar some Airbending lessons.

i really do hope they continue avatar. it's too soon to end! there's alot of unanswered ?'s. like how to repopulate the air nomads, does zuko find his mom, how can iroh see the spirit world and how did he get there in first place, and so much more! i don't know what more the writers can do about aang's story after the defeat of the firelord. who would be the new antagonist? well, i would like to see roku's story.

Then maybe THAT'S a great way to think of the ending of Avatar. We already know that the time setting's in "a lost age", so maybe this could be how benders died out. You never know..

P.S. And when when you do reply please make your comment EPIC.

Since there are no epilogues, when will the minisodes air? How long is a minisode?

I think they'll avoid that by making the new Avatar a past one. Does anyone know when the next Comic Con is? Apparently Bryke will be showing up there.

There are two major Comic-Cons (San Diego and NYC), and Avatar always attends both of them. The next Comic-Con is NYC Comic-Con. This will take place in early February of 2009.

Sick. I couldn't make the last one in NYC. Since I live about half an hour away and I know 6 months in advance, I should be able to make it.

Sorry, epic fail It will not include any of the gAang if they make a new series. Bryke has confirmed that. It will be a whole new Avatar in a whole new time period with all new people. We don't know if it will be past or future, though. Probably past, seeing that there's a problem with all the Air Nomads gone.

We already know much of Roku's story in Book 3, so it's unlikely. I think Avatar Kyoshi's life is more interesting and seeing a female Avatar is more refreshing. She lived more than 200 years after all and was the head of the Dai Li.

But we already know the outcome of her story, so younger viewers wouldn't be interested. They're only choice, really, would be to make a completely new Avatar. All because us Avatards think it would be more insightful and interesting to go more into the series doesn't mean Nick will like it. They want to appeal to younger viewers, so they've got to think of something new and fresh. IF the mini-episodes are true, then that is what will explain Kyoshi's past.

Not to be mean but I highly doubt that. I mean why would Bryke waste their minisodes by explaining about Kyoshi? She bairley ever made an appearance on the show.
