I'd really like an epilogue. You know showing Aang and Katara with their air bending baby to show that the airbenders can come back. Zuko finds him mom, Toph makes up with her family, Sokka and Suki getting married,

I'm a sap for great epilogues.

Some kind of Spin off with a new avatar would be good along with that. I don't think they should just leave the Avatar world hanging

Comic Con is gonna be cool this year, not only for Avatar but DC will discuss more on their animated movie line.

We don't need an epilogue, epilogues are overrated. And let's just make this the official San Diego Comic Con discussion so people don't make even more of these.

Good idea. Change the title Private, if you please.

I guess we could make this the official San Diego Comic Con discussion... but I still believe the title fits, especially us being in the Avatar page, and the San Diego Comic Con directly pertains to the future of Avatar. I don't think I'll change the title... besides... I don't even know how

As much as I want them to announce a new chapter in the current story or even a spin-off I doubt it will happen. More than likely they are going to debut the live action movies or something instead which stinks since I hate m.night shyamalan's work.

I really hope its a new series though

I guess I think I just need to think this over after I watch the entire series of Avatar over again on DVD once I get the box collections I had stopped watching it at one point, after the hiatus, because the times were all screwed up, and I lost track of the new schedule. I attempted to catch up, but ended up missing some episodes in the long run. Which is why I'm going to buy the entire series and watch it over again, and hope they will make an epilogue. I don't think the creators would be reckless enough to allow an epilogue to ruin the series though , I'm sure they can write it well to close up what we need to be closed.

I'm just EXTREMELY excited for what they say at the Comic Con!!!

Ahahaha. I already own Books 1+2 and I have Book 3 on my iPod. Still getting the DVD box set. Possibly twice, just to promote sales. I want to encourage Nick as much as I can.

To be entirely honest... It can still go either way. At least from my point of view, it would appear more likely that they make a new series, especially with the apparent cliff hanger of Zuko's mother, Ursa. Along with all that the creators have been saying in past Comic Con's and past interviews. They have said that they will go past season 3, and that they are not done with the Avatar Universe. As much as I hope that they do not change the characters; it would be almost inevitable if they wanted to make a successful continuation of the Avatar Universe.

That's my plan! It's so convienent to have videos on your iPod. And, surprisingly, the screen isn't too small. AND I'm getting way off topic If there would be a spin-off, what would you guys want, anyway?
I've been thinking, and I think I'd want something along the lines of either benders/non benders get discriminated. If benders do, they'll be considered freaks and locked up. This makes it much harder for the Avatar not only to learn the four elements but to use them. And if the non benders are discriminated, then well I don't know. Ahahaha. But I think it's somewhat original. It was the only thing I could think of that would possibly be something different from the gAang series.

They said they would like to go past season 3, but they aren't sure if they will. There has been no definite answer. They have basically told us, "Don't get your hopes up." I'm crushed anyhow

Ah, the yelling technique. Never something fun. But, if you try tear bending, they might go easy on you

There has to be an epilogue, the creators have left to many loose threads! There's still sooo many questions to be answered such as what happened to Zuko's mother and what about Koh the face stealer. Koh said that he and the avatar will one day meet again at the end of the first season! Maybe there'll be a spin-off involving Koh?

Well they said that season 3 would be the conclusion of Aang and Zuko's story and they would like to explore the Avatar universe some more. Hopefully they will re-consider going back into the current story since the fans would love to see some more closure but I guess we'll have to wait and see

I completely forgot about Koh. Hmmm... I think that there has to be an epilogue now, honestly. Bryke never leaves things unattended. Everything is always acknowledged, even if it isn't completely finished.

When Koh said that he and the avatar will meet again, maybe he meant that he'll meet with another avatar. The next avatar after Aang?!

Heya guys! I'm back no yelling this time muah ha ha!

^^ I definitely support the idea of a epilogue. It would finish the series perfectly, as much as I SERIOUSLY hate to see such a beautiful series go with such an amazing group of characters. If they can make the series continue with the same characters... and make the series actually flow well, and continue through a story... I would worship the creators as gods...

Another thing that the creators should mention is that where did the giant lion turtle come from?

Well, I don't know if it was ever revealed how the lion turtles originated, but I do know they were first shown in the library. I remember seeing the picture of it in a forum post, and in the series. You can always look around some of the topics, I know one of them should have the picture where the lion turtle was drawn on a scroll.

I guess it's just some weird, deformed animal. I mean, I'm sure there are other lion-turtles, just not large ones. It's possible that its genetic make up is screwed up. I think it's most likely that it's some sort of spirit creature.
