    Has anyone else figured out yet that the avatar cannot have a love/or whatever you want to call it.?? Its been impyed before in the season finale of season one and it has been implied in the season 2 finale trailer.??

    So far we have only heard of 1 avatar having a love.?? And his love got her face stolen by Koh.?? The guru is tring to tell Aang that in the season 2's finale.?? If Aang doesnt listen to him, it is possible that Katara might get taken away from him by the previous avatars.?? I think that is what happened to the avatar that was mention in season 1's finale, he was to concern with his lover/or whatever you want to??call it,??that his was too distracted from his avatar duties that the previous avatars before him had to take his lover/ or whatever away from him.?? And they did it in a horrible fashion to teach him

    i have thought about this many times, that is why i think the avatar is reincarnated, and not reproduced like everyone else. but for the former avatars to take away katara seems out there, i think.

    I think this is a duplicate thread. Oh Well. My only question is why people get soooo crazed over people in a TV show(Even though Avatar rocks!)

    The previous avatars didn't take her away from him, Koh stole her face and that avatar was upset and went to kill Koh but didn't succeed and got his face stolen too.

    Although I do VERY MUCH SO AGREE that Aang isn't supposed to have a love life, if he had gotten to learn everything he was supposed to to become the avatar he would have been taught that!

    This was my first question when I first watched Avatar. Is the Avatar allowed the luxury of love when he has so much to deal with that must??come first? It would seem the season finales (both of them) have hinted to us that he or she may not be allowed this. And since Aang ran away and his guardian died, there was no way he could've learned this.

    But does he really? I mean she said that he change the clouds... but wasn't Aunt Wu's prediction that the village wouldn't be destoryed? She didn't say that the volcano wouldn't errupt. I believe she would just telling them that to give him the freedom to live life without question, but in the end her predictions have been true, and in her prediction of Aangs future, love wasn't in it.
