Dongbufeng new podcast: Zutara discussion *Confirmation of no Zutara in show*

    I listened to the podcast and I believe Dylan said that Pooldude's sources confirm that Zutara wasn't going to happen and Pooldude said yes.

    So yeah, Dylan's a hardcore Kataang shipper, so of course he's going to say Zutara's not going to happen, but when Pooldude says it.....well, you might want to listen.....

    And for Dylan saying that Maiko wasn't going to last past 5 episodes, that was just him speculating

    I doubt that there is any truth in this (after all, the whole 'who will Katara end up with?' thing is something that the majority of the fandom worldwide want to know and it's pretty careless to let a spoiler like that slip) but I've been wrong before.

    In the technical sense though, there being no Zutara in the show doesn't actually constitute a "Spoiler" since it was always a fanon ship.

    I vote to put Zutara in a temporary posistion of power so as to distract Katara from Aang. Once this has happened, Azulaang will roam free and we can then oust Zutara from it's pathetic farce of a majority rule and Azulaang will finally rule the world!

    and btw, I'm always right most of the time, when I see differents confrontations scene like Zutara and especially with a scene like in the trailer, things are obvious to me.

    I think this is complete bull. I am a Zutara shipper, and I say this proudly. There is no way that the creators would just give this away to a fan to tell the rest of the fandom.

    Do I think Zutara will happen? Probably not, escpecially after seeing The Boiling Rock, but it can't just be given out like this. It is a spoiler, a large one at that. I think its big enough of a spoiler, that it wouldn't be given out like that.

    Exactly. It's like confirming Taru Lee won't happen. It was never real to begin with for obvious reasons.

    I dunno if anyone's touched on this, but in a recent interview they were talking about zutara, and the way I read it made it seem like they hinted it wasn't going to happen. of course this is just my opinion, because they didn't come out and say it. But they said:

    DIMARTINO: And I never would have thought that the potential Katara/Zuko romance was going to be so ... you know, so big for people? Because honestly, that wasn't our intention from the start (laughs).

    KONIETZKO: We knew about it...

    DIMARTINO: We knew there would be some tension, but it wasn't like we were going to play that up too much, so it's cool to see people getting into that romance stuff.

    I dunno, maybe it's just me. I'm not much a of a shipper, I'm neutal, so I don't care. All I want is the truth! It sounds like they weren't planning to have much zutara, and are still not planning to. lulz.

    i totally agree im a zutarian and also think its not going to happen but y wud they let something out like that so easily???? and it is a BIG spoiler since its basically abt who katara will end up with
